Seen at almost 2.5 weeks old. Will mature around 16.3hh.
Esme is a super filly with good bone and substance. She carries the lines of Timahoe Heather, Touch Of The Blues, Bridon Belfrey, Snowford Bellman, Blue Henry, Huntingfield Proud Tim etc. Will make a fabulous future brood mare or a lovely riding horse.
Esme will be weaned in the fall and will be registered with the IDHSNA.

It’s taken me a few days to write this as I have been a emotional mess, just mentally exhausted.
Sadly we lost our lovely C1 mare Kieva on Thursday. She had retained some of her placenta went septic was treated and then developed laminitis. At times she would show signs of getting better and then would go down hill. In the end even the meds weren’t helping so we had to make the painful decision to let her go and stop her suffering.
So this is the first time ever we were left with an orphan foal which has been so sad. He stayed at the vets until my vet found a nurse mare who already had a foal but we thought it was worth trying to graft him on to the mare. Things did look promising at first but then it was clear she had not clearly accepted him so we had to stop, it broke my heart that day.
So yesterday we bought him home put him next door to his grandmother and he is drinking milk from the bucket incredibly well and is in a relaxed state of mind.
The plan now is we are giving Maggie the drug to bring milk in , in the hopes we can graft him onto her in a few days using the love drugs which will be done at the vets.
So please cross your fingers for this little guy that all goes to plan. I know Kieva is looking down and hoping this will work as the next best thing is definitely his Grandmother 💕

Maisie our Touch Of The Blues mare did a sneaky on us in the early hours. Had only just spoke to my vet about dropping her off Sunday morning!
Maisie did a great job and delivered a gorgeous black filly by Manu Fortis Proud Chieftain by Proud Tim.
Looks like this filly is going to be a lovely traditional Irish Draught with all her bone and substance.
