I got to see Miss Annabelle again! She is one beautiful gal! I love watching her progress. Pets are so resilient & they're not given enough credit by humans. Miss Annabelle here is maneuvering around wonderfully. I lead her by clicking my tongue when it is noisy. When it's not noisy, I just say her name & talk to her calmly & she comes right up for snuggles & a puppy massage. It sets her to drooling. I did the same when my cat went blind. So, if you ever think it will be difficult to take care of a blind pet or adopt/shadopting & you see a blind pet & think it will be too much work, difficult or how will they potty, they will teach you! Here I am to tell you & assure you that it is easier than you think. Don't throw in the towel too soon. They also know when to turn when on leash by the gentle laying of the leash on their shoulders when you want them to turn. It is just when riding a horse & using reins. They will teach you & that bond grows stronger! And yes, Annabelle is strapped in.
