Pet sitting 101: New friends!🐕🐕😍 Always expect the unexpected. Finn and Gabby caught me by surprise. I thought they was check to make sure I was still a girl at every visit. Nope. That wasn't it.🤣

They like running up to you and running through your legs. Then Finn will stop perfectly and stand there halfway between your legs; his front part facing the opposite direction. Making it perfect for me to scratch his back end while giving a happy tail wag. I learned real quick what he was telling me to do. Gabby, was steadily on the go and stopping in for scratchins' when she could. Such sweet and funny puppers! I couldn't imagine a world without pets. They truly make it interesting and they capture your heart.

We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise. It was lovely out in the morning and evenings.

Since we are dealing with triple-digit forecasts, I have to find the silver lining while scooping in this heat. The upside? It is perfect weather for deep-cleaning cow femurs! I wash them, let them dry, and pack them with blueberries, strawberries, and xylitol-free peanut butter or plain Greek yogurt. They get frozen overnight, and the boys get 2 hours of mat time to enjoy them (before the fruit stains!). Another great option is coating them in onion-free beef broth or sealing the edges with peanut butter.

I also treated Albie and Dudley to a fresh batch of homemade Pumpkin Poppers. I love making cold treats during the hot months and baking warm biscuits during our short winters. They aren't spoiled at all... they just keep my shoes safe! 👀🐕‍🦺🤣

Albie & Dudley says "Hi!" 🦮🐩🐾🚕🐾🥰

When your pet gurney breaks that is suppose to be able to hold 250 lbs, you have to improvise quick! But then the saw breaks that Lowes has up there to cut your own materials with. It kind of ramps up the anxiety when someone called & needed my help. Of course my brain takes over & handles business really well under pressure.

While Lowes employees was cutting the plywood for me, I was making a beeline to plumbing for some hardware to help make gurney handles. So many options, but not quite the right ones. So I got help.

There is a contractor up there in the plumbing dept. I think his name was Tim, sorry if I got your name wrong! I told him what I do & the situation. He quickly helped me pick out the handles on my makeshift gurney. At that time the manager comes around the corner & tells me about the saw & was apologizing.

The contractor quickly steps in & says, "I have a saw in my truck. Let me grab it, it'll only take a couple of minutes." Between the manager, whom just recently got promoted & the contractor, Lowe's Home Improvement in Derby, KS. This is what I call an excellent team effort & I am so grateful that they came together & helped! The other Lowes store refused to help me. Silver lining, I got to meet some amazing people that day! And the 2 lady's up at the contractors checkout was great in their efforts as well with making sure I got the help I needed & rang me up quickly!

For anyone who knows the manager, contractor, and the two cashier ladies, feel free to tag them! All 4 of them did a wonderful job that day!

Thank you!

For those that follow & want to see the patient; I am sorry, but this patient was private. But know that she had the most adventurous & wonderful life with her owner who rescued her as a puppy. I did not post when this happened, but it was recent. I am sure the owner could still use some good vibes or prayers still. They were very well bonded! So much that the Veterinarian, techs & office people are worried about the owner. After hearing about her life stories, I felt like I knew her as well.

A lengthy, wobbly video. The camera person is horrible! Oh wait! Thats me! But at 2:06 it starts picking up. If you stand close & look at my pics with me you'd be grossed out. There's a lot of pictures of everyone's kids & p**p on my phone. Yep. I said p**p.

The joys of pet sitting. More like pet entertainment with all the love in the world!🥰 All I did was go out & say, "Psp. Psp. Psp. Here fishy fishy, fishy!" And there they all are. Tons of turtles, Koi, Perch, some Bass and a giant Catfish!

I will definitely try to post this weekend of everyone's fur kids on here. I've been busy enjoying everyone's fur kids, running my pet taxi and p**per scooping. I forgot it was birthday Wednesday. That should tell you how much I love doing what I do! I get to meet new people, make human friends & fluffy friends.🩷 And I also get to help people. I don't get to check on everyone like I'd like to but rest assured, all of you are on my mind & I pray for you! Stay blessed & be strong everyone! **plife **perscooperwichitaksandsurroundingarea

I got to see Miss Annabelle again! She is one beautiful gal! I love watching her progress. Pets are so resilient & they're not given enough credit by humans. Miss Annabelle here is maneuvering around wonderfully. I lead her by clicking my tongue when it is noisy. When it's not noisy, I just say her name & talk to her calmly & she comes right up for snuggles & a puppy massage. It sets her to drooling. I did the same when my cat went blind. So, if you ever think it will be difficult to take care of a blind pet or adopt/shadopting & you see a blind pet & think it will be too much work, difficult or how will they potty, they will teach you! Here I am to tell you & assure you that it is easier than you think. Don't throw in the towel too soon. They also know when to turn when on leash by the gentle laying of the leash on their shoulders when you want them to turn. It is just when riding a horse & using reins. They will teach you & that bond grows stronger! And yes, Annabelle is strapped in.

If you need a Pet Taxi Service, I am here to help. If you just have questions, I am a phone call or text away. (316)871-8405.

I just wanted to share a nice place to stop in & eat. Betty's out in Douglass, Ks is the spot! It is another place that worked around my food allergy. This place is friendly, clean & tasty! If you are ever in Douglass, Ks. this place is definitely the spot to eat at! Us small businesses have to stick together. Another 5 star spot! Thank you so much!
