We are back from a successful 4H District 8 Horse Show!! It was a fun, well run show with great class sizes!

Clara and Howie had an excellent show, winning trail and English Showmanship!! Howie has only shown trail once before and they weren’t even given time to warm up! They had some excellent rides in their other classes and learned even more together!

Lindsey and Caliber showed in the ranch classes for the first time together! They laid down some excellent runs in each of their classes and learned a ton at their first 4H show!

Kimberlee switched it up and showed Rocky! They had some fantastic rides winning Hunter Under Saddle and English Versatility! For having only ridden Rocky a handful of times in the last month, Kimberlee showed him great!

Now we are headed to IEA Nationals in Ft Worth this weekend for Clara and Kimberlee to show!

I’m starting my search for a feed lease horse to join the lesson and show program at Twisted R Performance Horses beginning in late July (after the 4-H State Horse Show).

We’re looking for a horse that can help riders build confidence, develop their skills, and gain experience both at home and in the show pen.

What we’re looking for:
• Safe, kind, and intermediate friendly
• Easy to handle and get along with
• Suitable for Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, or Ranch Riding
• Comfortable being ridden 5–6 times per week
• Bonus if they enjoy attending local open shows

What we offer:
• Excellent daily care and management
• Large coastal pasture turnout
• Daily grain and alfalfa
• Routine farrier care
• Monthly bodywork
• Experienced trainer supervision
• A program that prioritizes horsemanship and horse welfare
• References available upon request

This horse would be an important part of helping riders learn, grow, and achieve their goals. We treat every horse in our program as an individual and are committed to providing quality care and a positive environment.
