🎆 4th of July Tips for a Safe & Stress-Free Pup 🇺🇸

While we’re celebrating with fireworks and fun, many dogs are having a tough night. Loud noises, unfamiliar guests, and changes in routine can be overwhelming for them.

Here are a few tips to help your pup feel safe tonight:

🐾 Exercise early – A nice walk or play session in the morning can help burn off energy before the evening noise kicks in.
🐾 Create a safe zone – Set up a quiet space with cozy bedding, a fan or sound machine, and their favorite toy.
🐾 Keep them inside – Even the most well-behaved dogs can bolt when frightened. Double-check fences and leash up for potty breaks.
🐾 Skip the fireworks – They may be fun for us, but they’re terrifying for many pets. It’s okay to stay in for your dog tonight.
🐾 ID tags and microchips – Make sure your contact info is up to date—just in case.
