For those who don’t know me yet, let me introduce myself. My name is Destiny Liles! I am located in Southern Oregon and travel to Roseburg often. I am from the Roseburg area —to be exact, the Umpqua. I moved to Southern Oregon and met my other half, Stephen, the owner of Rogue Antler Arts, whom many of you may know. We have three sons, Colby, Hunter, and Sawyer, whom we raise in the outdoors.
Since I was a kid, I have loved hunting, fishing, and riding the dunes with my family. It wasn't until I met Stephen that my passion for the outdoors took off. I have been doing our skulls from the many exciting hunts we have shared for almost 8 years. I have been doing them for two years professionally under a taxidermist. I decided to get my taxidermy license to take on other heads besides our families. I really enjoy seeing everyone's trophies. I am absolutely addicted to antlers. We spend our days year-round in the outdoors with our boys and each other. I love hunting bears and long beards in spring and catching trout at the lakes while picking morels. Shed hunting is one of our biggest passions, and I love it so much. I also love hunting pheasants, quail, grouse, ducks, geese, and doves on foggy fall mornings. My all-time favorite, though, is hunting late-season Blacktails! That is where my deep-rooted passion stems from. I understand with every fiber in me the importance and meaning behind each and every harvest. Many of Stephen’s customers ask for a shed for their dogs to chew on. I tell him absolutely not 😅 Every single antler we find is attached to a memory and has its own story, like the trophies you all harvest. I believe antlers belong in the living room, the bedroom, the bathroom, and every other room in the house. I think the boys call ladies like us unicorns 😂 All joking aside, I take pride in my work. I do not boil skulls or use beatles. I use a method called maceration that creates a museum-quality piece without damaging the bone, like various other methods used.
If you'd like me to do your skull, text me or give me call and swing on by. I'd love to show you some of my work and maybe give you a little tour of our trophy room. 541-821-5958 I look forward to seeing the many trophies you all bring in and building new friendships along the way.
