You don’t want to miss meeting Dr. Toby Sheely of Rocky Branch Veterinary Services at the Redemption Run open house this Saturday.

With over 20 years in equine practice — including work at a Twin Cities referral center — Dr. Sheely focuses on lameness evaluations, advanced diagnostics (X-ray and ultrasound), performance assessments, and practical care that meets horses right at the barn. He’ll be sharing thoughts on recognizing early signs of discomfort and supporting horses through rehab.

Come hear him talk (at noon), meet the horses, see the daily care and bodywork in action, and ask questions.

Tomorrow is the day for our first Open House Event at Redemption Run Farm!

We’re excited to have the Rollin Nolen’s BBQ food truck on site so you can grab lunch while you’re here. Their loaded pulled pork fries are a fan favorite—crispy fries piled with smoked pulled pork, sriracha mayo, and house BBQ sauce.

While you’re out visiting apple orchards and taking in the fall weather, stop by to meet the horses and learn what Redemption Run & EquiKare are all about. We’d love to see you! 🐴🥰

Watch Karrie work with a horse up close during our open house bodywork demonstration.

As a certified equine massage therapist with a degree in Equine Studies and more than 20 years of hands-on experience with sport and racehorses, she uses bodywork to help horses recover and stay comfortable.

Bodywork can ease muscle tension and improve circulation, which supports healing and helps horses move more freely. It also promotes relaxation so they can better handle the physical demands of training or rehab.

Come see the difference at the open house and learn more about the care we provide at EquiKare.

We’re excited to welcome Melissa Williams, creator of Stretch’N Snacks, as a guest at the Redemption Run open house.

Melissa will be demonstrating how these simple, minimal-ingredient treats can help horses stretch more safely and thoughtfully. The palm-fit design and safety sticks are meant to protect your fingers while encouraging slower, more controlled movement so you can better see where a horse might be tight or limited.
If you’ve ever struggled with carrot stretches (or just want a better tool for body awareness work), come check it out. She’ll walk through the how and why, and you’ll get to see them in action.
