The Story Behind Elite Empire Cane Corso
Every great journey starts with a dream, and ours began with finding the perfect family companion.
Years ago, Mike and Sara, parents of two amazing kids began researching the Cane Corso breed. They quickly fell in love with the breed's loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature and knew a Cane Corso would be a great addition to their family. They had to chose wisely as their daughter has a physical disability using walkers and wheelchairs so, the dog had to be a perfect match.
Unfortunately, their first Cane Corso's story ended far too soon. At just 10 months old, they were faced with the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye due to epilepsy and the effects of poor breeding practices.
While devastating, those 10 months taught their family so much about the breed they had grown to love. They immersed themselves in learning about health, genetics, temperament, structure, and responsible breeding.
From that loss came a purpose.
Determined to make a difference, Mike and Sara set out to build a breeding program focused on producing healthy, stable-temperament, well-structured Cane Corso that families could trust and enjoy for years to come.
And so, Elite Empire Cane Corso was born.
Today, our mission remains the same: to preserve and improve the breed through health testing, responsible breeding practices, sound temperaments, and unwavering dedication to quality.
