While these nuisance behaviors are very common in young dogs, this issue can quickly escalate and degrade your dog's trust in you. It can even lead to resource guarding and dangerous behaviors like swallowing objects, growling, snarling and snapping.⁠

This class will focus on teaching your dog to willingly and voluntarily turn away from, or let go of, any item when requested, thereby improving leash walking and recall manners. We'll show you how to practice with safe contraband items, how to be prepared and ready, and how to make interactions go smoothly. ⁠

Oh my goddess I love her expression and playful look in this one!! 😍😍😍

We had our second play-training w the ball today. She was a bit more jumpy and spooky today, which led to a couple misunderstandings for the poor girl. But we overall had a good session, even though it was physically less challenging than I would have liked.

I can’t wait to let this girl start moving!!

Let us show you how to restart your dog's health & hygiene training!

There is no way around it. All puppies and dogs need to be groomed and visit the veterinarian. When the process is stressful on either end of the leash, important health and hygiene tasks are back-burnered and dogs become more intolerant and resistant.

The good news is that a little bit of training time can turn the most dreaded task into a pleasurable experience for all!

While this hour will be geared towards improving paw handling and toenail trimming, skills learned can be applied to many different handling issues, including, but not limited to: brushing, bathing, wiping dirty paws, eye/ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and aversion to wearing equipment.
