Hello friends!

Sweater weather is officially upon us, and you know what that means… CUDDLE SEASON!

There’s just something about chilly mornings, cozy blankets, and snuggling up in the softest, chunkiest yarn! Who deserves a little handmade luxury more than our four-legged best friends?

I’ll be posting a couple of handmade chunky yarn crate pads this evening, perfect for adding a little warmth, comfort, and cuteness to your pup’s favorite spot or travel crate!

THESE ARE READY TO SHIP, so you don’t have to be local to snag something!

ALSOOOO I’m officially adding matching blankets for the humans too! Because why should the dogs get to have all the cozy things?!

So yes, you and your dog can now be ridiculously cozy AND coordinated.

Anyway, that’s your warning. Cozy things for you AND your dogs incoming!

Soooo… apparently I haven’t posted on this page since July.

I promise The Cozy Collie Co is still alive and well! Life has just been doing what life does, and somehow it’s already September.

BUT I do have some pretty exciting news to make up for disappearing for two months!

The Cozy Collie Co will be vending at CANAM!!!

We’ll be vending at the 2026 NAFA CanAm Flyball Classic next weekend (Someone pinch me it’s already here 😱) in Indianapolis, and I’m so excited to be setting up alongside some of my favorite people!
Sparkle Swag
Deep Thought Supply Co
ADHDog Crafts
Imagine Canine Academy

I leave in THREE DAYS, which makes me feel like I should be concerned considering the current state of my packing situation, but that’s a problem for future me.

I’ll have mostly crate pads and potentially some other cozy things for your very deserving (and probably very spoiled) flyball dogs. I’ll share some sneak peeks of what I’m bringing as I finish getting everything together this week!

If you’re going to CANAM, please come find us and say hello!

(Let me know your answer for the question at the bottom of this post!)

It’s amazing how a few skeins of yarn turns into a pups favorite nap spot.

I thought it would be fun to share a little behind the scenes look at how one of my recent custom beds came to life! Watching hours of hand knitting and crocheting condensed into a short time lapse is so satisfying! I will definitely be doing more!

Every bed and crate pad is handmade by me from start to finish. Lots of chunky yarn, patience, and plenty of inspection and quality control from my own dogs. Since each one is handmade, no two are ever exactly alike. Every piece is truly one of a kind!

I’ve also been working on a new design for my Ruffland kennel pads, and I’m so excited with how they’re turning out! I’ll have Intermediate and Large Ruffland kennel pads available at the Ice Cream Social, hosted by TSF at Quicksilver Canine, July 25th and 26th!

At this event I’ll only be bringing kennel pads, but if you’ve been thinking about a custom bed or need a different Ruffland size, send me a message! I’d be happy to make one just for you and have it ready for pickup at the event.

Thank you all for supporting my little business. Every order allows me to keep creating something I genuinely love and it means the world to know these cozy creations become part of your dogs’ everyday lives.

I always love new ideas so I wanted to ask, which color combinations are your favorites to see?

🌈🌈🌈 It’s raffle day! 🌈🌈🌈

Tonight at 8:00 PM I’ll be going live right here on the Cozy Collie Co. page to draw our winners!

We’ll be drawing for the Ruffland kennel package, which includes an Intermediate Double Door Ruffland, a Primo Pad, and a Pride goodie bag, as well as the Threads of Pride round flat bed with its own Pride goodie bag.

I’ll also be announcing our final fundraising total. When I started this raffle, my goal was simply to give back during Pride Month. After thinking about it, I’ve decided to donate 100% of the raffle proceeds to the Durham LGBTQ Center. Thanks to all of YOU, we will help support the amazing work they do in our community.

Whether you bought a ticket, shared the raffle, commented, or cheered us on, thank you. I truly appreciate every single one of you, and I can’t wait to celebrate our winners tonight!

I’ll see you all live at 8:00 PM!

Ever since the recent Pups and Pride, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I might be able to give back this Pride Month. The dog community has given so much to me through friendships, support, and a place where people can truly be themselves, especially in region 9. I wanted to find a way for Cozy Collie Co to give some of that love back.
