Excited to use these new hatching trays!
I prefer to hatch all my eggs upright, I’ve had much better results doing this especially with shipped eggs!
I had been using egg cartons, but I got tired of cutting up more cartons when they’d get gross🤣

They fit perfectly in my hatching baskets for my Hatching Time CT180 and Maticoopx30!

Well it finally happened..
An egg from a shipped set exploded in my incubator after only 3 days in and spilled all over my other set that is about to go on lockdown.

On top of that it leaked out of my incubator and onto some of my packaging supplies!

The feeling of defeat is so real..
I’ve cleaned and sanitized the best I could, but I’m not very hopeful of the outcome😩
Everything was caked in nasty egg mess🤢

I buy my feed in bulk, 500lbs at a time due to driving a 2 hour round trip. I’d love to be able to get a larger amount, but I need a way to store it.

I have 35-65 pound gravity feeders in each of my pens and after filling them all up, I still have multiple unopened bags that mice like to chew holes into.
I feel like it’s a real test of my patience when I grab a bag and it starts pouring out..🫠

So for those who buy bulk feed, how are you storing it?
