Lol, we've heard it all.

Yep, we use treats. Yep, we use them a lot to pay for good behavior in dogs. Does this look like “free” treats to a lot of people? Yes, probably. 🙃

But behavior is happening ALL. THE. TIME.

Just because it looks like “nothing” to us humans doesn't mean it's not difficult for our furry friends. 🐶

Exuberant dogs and fearful dogs have one big thing in common: it can be VERY hard for them to relax. Playing “Treats from the Sky” can help.

It gives your pup something predictable and positive to focus on—and helps reinforce those quiet moments that can be easy for us to overlook. ✨

P.S. You'll always use tiny treats and moderate your dog's daily food intake. 👍

Our sample size might be a little skewed, but it seems like most people will struggle with polite greetings in the course of their puppy’s or dog’s life.

Some of the standard advice might not be effective. (Ever turned your back to ignore, only to have a dog jump on your back?)

OR it might rely on tactics meant to hurt or scare your dog. We’re just not gonna do that…

Let’s take a look at what causes jumping and how you can teach your dog to fight the urge to jump on both you and Grandma!

🐾 Meet Herbie! 🐾

Herbie has officially kicked off his Day Training with us!

So far, we’ve learned that Herbie is a serious worker who is happy to work for boiled chicken! He’s also proving to be quite the athlete and LOVES agility. 🐕💨

He still thinks chasing squirrels is a pretty great hobby 😂🐿️

Revisiting and refreshing some blog articles today... This one on the "Puppy Point of View" is a great reminder that raising puppies is TOUGH.

But if you keep these 5 things in mind going in, and know that your puppy's behavior is normal and not a direct personal hit on you, then you'll be better equipped to get through puppyhood fairly unscathed.
