🐾 Big news from the K90 Degree Family! 👶🏼🍼

There’s a new little human joining the pack! 💕 I’m so excited to share that I’m expecting a baby, and while I’m thrilled for this next chapter, it does mean I’ll be taking some time away from the business to welcome our newest family member expected February 2027.

I won’t be available for dog training starting December 15th. Dog sitting, boarding, and drop in care for well mannered pets will end January 31st. I thank everyone for their kindness and consideration during my maternity leave, and I encourage all my wonderful clients to start making alternative arrangements for their pups during this time until April 1st, 2027.

I’m so grateful for each and every one of you for trusting me with your four-legged family members. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait for this next adventure! 🐾💗

More details about my leave dates may change as we get closer, so I appreciate the patience!

This is the result of setting clear expectations and boundaries!
Puppies are like toddlers, and they’ll find every opportunity to test a new boundary. Wh***ey is learning here that the place command is a non negotiable, and I enforce it by putting her back every time she steps off. No fight, no discussion, just placing her back and enforcing what I expect of her. This clear communication is what helps set her up for success back at home!

You know the satellite dishes on our dogs heads they have all convinced us are solely for decoration? Turns out, they can hear us, and hear us the first time! 😂
On a more serious note, thinking through problems and finding the solution with minimal help is where productive learning happens. Ruhn had practiced down many, many times by this point, so he knows the word and position. What we are doing is getting rid of any assistance, no hand signals, no luring him into down. A good verbal cue, and letting him think it through; and just look at his success!
