💙 Meet Eddie. Seriously… look at this boy.
Eddie is one incredible dog he’s smart, affectionate, playful, gentle, and completely devoted to his people.
He’s a Malinois, and if you know the breed, you know what an amazing combination that can be. Intelligent, loyal, eager to learn, athletic and incredibly connected to their people. Eddie is all of that… wrapped up in one very sweet boy.
And once Eddie is comfortable and in an environment where he can truly thrive, he shines.
He LOVES his people.
He LOVES walks.
He LOVES playing fetch.
He LOVES to play.
And he absolutely LOVES to cuddle. ❤️
He’s wonderful with kids, humans and cats, and he can do well with a small-breed dog. He is selective with larger dogs, so his ideal home would be one without them.
What Eddie really needs is a fenced yard and a home where he can focus on his people without a lot of distractions. Give this boy the right environment and a person who enjoys an intelligent, active dog, and you’ll see just how special he is.
Eddie is now about a year old, and he has been with NMLR for 11 months. Somehow, this amazing boy is still waiting for his person.
But we aren’t giving up on him.
Because Eddie is someone’s boy. 💙
Someone is going to absolutely LOVE this goofy, handsome, smart, affectionate boy.
Someone is going to discover that having an Eddie means having a best friend who wants to be right there with you on the walk, chasing the ball, learning something new, or curled up beside you at the end of the day.
Eddie doesn’t need everyone to choose him.
He just needs his person to see him.
And when they do?
Oh, they’re going to wonder how they ever lived without him.
Good boy, Eddie. Your turn is coming.
