Have you made your Limited Edition Clumber Hunting Palooza purchase? I just did this morning!! Pink for me this time! Have to have a little of both. 😉. Help raise funds for this training week of all Clumbers all the time doing what they were bred for this October in WI!! Yeah they may be pretty and schmoopy, but they’re birdie too!!! We are a fraction of the way there with 3 days to go!! Help us reach our fundraising goal!!!

We mainly just wanted to have fun shirts for the year!! Any extra funds will go towards welcome bags and stuff for the week!

Effie running her heart out to catch that lure and get her BCAT this past weekend at Oshkosh Kennel Club.

It was a wet track Friday morning, but it didn’t slow Effie down! She ran her fastest times to date!! After we took some time at Lowes and Petsmart while we waited for the rain to end, she knew exactly what the plan was when we arrived at the club! Little girl had a blast and wanted to do more than her two runs! We officially have a BCAT after her name(pending AKC approval, of course)😊

Another Gilda and Luke baby had a very good day in Topeka KS on Thursday!

Cedric: CH Lemontree’s Citrus Got Real was awarded an Owner-handled Group 1 from Breeder/Clumber expert/Judge Doug Johnson!

We are so proud of Tyler and Madeline Cockers and Clumbers and everything they have done with Cedric. He’s growing into such a beautiful boy and is a perfect fit for their young family! ❤️

The package decided to take it’s own slow route to get here, but my ringside tote from Nana B's Boutique made it!!! Beccie, I LOVE it!!!!!!!

Mr Cedric in Colorado, went out for a dip in the pool for the first time today! Look at him go!! Considering his sister Henley in CA is a little fish, it doesn’t surprise me, but it was so fun to see! Look at him! No fear!!🐟🐠🥰

This is copied and pasted, but absolutely agree….

Can we stop pretending “Adopt, Don’t Shop” is some morally superior statement?

Because honestly… it may sound cute on a bumper sticker, but it ignores the bigger problem.

The issue isn’t ethical breeders preserving good genetics, sound temperaments, working ability, health-tested lines, and generations of intentional pairing.

The issue is irresponsible humans.

Most dogs sitting in shelters didn’t put themselves there.

Someone bought or adopted a dog they had no business owning.
Someone didn’t train it.
Someone didn’t contain it.
Someone didn’t commit.
Someone treated a living creature like a temporary hobby instead of a lifelong responsibility.

That is not the fault of responsible breeders.

Good breeders are not the enemy. Good breeders are the reason good lines survive. They are the ones protecting health, temperament, structure, purpose, and predictability. They are the ones asking questions, keeping contracts, taking dogs back, and caring deeply about where their puppies go.

We cannot let the best genetics disappear because society wants to shame every person who chooses a well-bred dog.

Adopt if your heart leads you there.
Buy from an ethical breeder if that is right for your family.

But how about we start saying the quiet part louder:

🗣🗣🗣 Own responsibly.

Because the real problem was never “shopping.”

It was people failing the dogs they promised to love.
