One of my absolute FAVORITE parts of raising these pups is getting updates after they head home. 🤎🐾

Lately, we’ve gotten so many photos and messages from our Upland Edge families, and I seriously adore seeing these babies grow up! Watching them settle into their families, learn new things, explore, hunt, play, and—most importantly—be so incredibly loved makes my heart so happy.

We may only get them for the first little chapter of their lives, but I will always love seeing the dogs they grow into. 🥹

Thank you to all of our puppy families who continue to send us updates. Please never feel like you’re sending too many pictures—we LOVE every single one of them!

The Week 8 pupdate is bittersweet as we prepare to say goodbye. Tomorrow, these special pups start their new chapters!

Big day for the Charms crew! 🍀 We traded the puppy pen for the vet’s office today, and everyone passed with flying colors!

The whole gang is officially vaccinated, dewormed, and tired out from all the extra attention. We met plenty of new friends and made sure to show off our best "puppy eyes."

The weigh-in results are in: ⚖️ Saoirse took the "Tiny but Mighty" title at 6.5 lbs.
⚖️ Finn (aka Seamus) is leading the pack as our resident "Big Mac" at 9 lbs!

🍀 Week 7 Pupdate: The Need for Speed! 🍀
We can hardly believe it, but our seven little ones are seven weeks old today! This has been a week of "firsts" and fast breaks. Here’s the latest from the Upland Edge crew:

Bird Brains in Training: We introduced the pups to birds for the first time this week! The natural instinct is definitely there—they were absolutely fascinated by the new scents and sights. It’s clear these pups are ready to follow in the footsteps of the big dogs.

The Great Outdoors: We’ve been spending most of our time outside. Between wrestling with the adult dogs and exploring the yard, they are burning off plenty of energy.

The Blur Factor: Good luck getting a still photo! They have found their "pro" gears and are officially faster than my camera shutter. They’ve traded their puppy waddle for a full-on sprint.

"Big Kid" Status: Tomorrow is a major milestone: the big vet appointment! They’ll get their checkups to ensure everyone is healthy and ready for their next chapter.

Heading Home:
Starting next week, these pups will begin heading to their forever homes. It’s a bittersweet time for us, but we are so proud of the bold, birdy, and bright dogs they are becoming.

New Name Reveal? 🏷️

As these seven prepare to head out, we know some of you have been brainstorming! If you’re taking a Lucky Charm home next week, have you officially decided on a new name yet? We’d love to hear what you’ve picked out—drop it in the comments below!

If "frisky and prissy" was a puppy, it would be Saoirse! This girl has a personality that demands attention, and with the most color in the "Lucky Charm" litter, she certainly stands out in a crowd. Her roan is already looking sharp—dare we say, it's "on point"? (Wink, wink!) 😉

The best part? Saoirse is officially reserved and staying right here locally! We are so excited that we’ll get to see her all the time and watch her go on many hunting adventures with her sibling and mother. We can’t wait to see this local girl in action!

Next on our 6-week pupdate tour: Tadhg! 🏹🐾

He’s adventurous, fast, and always looking for trouble (in the best way!). Tadhg is destined for the hunting fields of Tennessee, and we couldn't be more excited for his new family.

How cool are those unique spots on his back? His coat is going to be stunning as that roan continues to come in.
