I’m so excited to share the wonderful weekend we just had! I got the absolute privilege of taking Reagan to her first show at Silverwood Farm on my lovely little OTTB Kieran’s Lucky Charm. Friday evening we spent our time bathing, braiding, and packing. Saturday morning we hauled to Silverwood for the day where Reagan showed the Intro B Dressage test. The months of hard work she’s put into preparing for this weekend payed off as she finished with a 2nd place ribbon. I could not be more proud of her lovely performance. Her determination and dedication to herself and the horses continue to amaze me. I am also ecstatic about Kieran’s performance at only his second show ever, he looked like he’s been doing this for years! I can’t wait to continue helping these two grow as a pair and find what next show season holds for them!

Kieran’s Lucky Charm had a fantastic first day showing Intro B with a score of 55.3%. Given that it’s only his second time off the farm since retiring from the racetrack and his first time at a show, I truly could not be happier with our score today. I’m so excited to announce that my program is growing! We offer personalized riding lessons for everyone ages 6 and up at our facility located in Wauconda, IL. All lessons are crafted to each riders unique needs and goals, whether that be just a love of horses or the drive to attend horse shows. We have more new and exciting things coming this summer, so please check out our website and give us a call to get your lessons on the books.

It’s always amazing looking back at what my horses were like when I got them compared to what they’ve become. I could not be happier with all the things I’ve been able to accomplish with Rayna over the past year.
