A New Leash on Life is looking for cats in need of placement as barn cats 🐱🌾

Do you know of a cat that isn’t suited for indoor living?
• Feral or semi-feral
• Not adjusting well to a home
• Struggling in a shelter environment

We are working to place cats like these into safe barn homes where they can live comfortably and have a purpose.

All cats will be placed responsibly into homes that provide:
✔️ Shelter (barn, garage, or outbuilding)
✔️ Food & water
✔️ Safe placement and acclimation

🖤 Every cat deserves a chance—even if it looks a little different than the typical home.

📩 Text us if you have or know of a cat that could be a good barn candidate!

🐾 A New Leash on Life NNY – Looking for Volunteers 🐾

Running A New Leash on Life NNY has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Being able to help local pet owners keep their animals fed, safe, and loved means the world to me.

But if I’m being honest — it’s starting to get a little hard to keep up with everything on my own.

Between collecting donations, answering messages, organizing requests, and making sure supplies get where they need to go, the page has grown into something bigger than just one person.

And now that I’m in my third trimester, it’s definitely becoming more challenging to keep up with it all.

I am not stepping away from the mission — I just need a little help so we can keep helping pets in our community.

Right now I’m looking for a couple people who might be willing to volunteer with things like:
• Helping respond to Facebook messages
• Assisting with organizing donation requests
• Helping coordinate getting supplies to families who need them
• Occasionally helping distribute donations

You don’t need special experience — just a love for animals and the desire to help people in our community care for their pets.

Even one or two extra helping hands could make a huge difference.

If you’re interested in helping out or learning more, please send the page a message. And if volunteering isn’t something you can do right now, sharing this post would mean a lot too. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported A New Leash on Life NNY so far — you’re the reason we’re able to do this.

• Pet food (dog & cat)
