HEAR YE, HEAR YE. WE HAVE NEWS. ALSO, PLEASE ADOPT A DOG.
First, the important part:
🚨 Waterbury Animal Control is getting dangerously close to full, and dogs need to move NOW. 🚨
So, effective immediately, Waterbury Woof Pack is sponsoring adoption fees until further notice.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to adopt a dog, congratulations. This is aggressively that sign.
Now for the fun part.
We’re genuinely excited that the official Waterbury Animal Control page is back in action and will be sharing adoptable dogs, found dogs, adoption announcements, and official municipal information straight from the source.
And if you’re reading this because they've shared it hello, new friends. Please enjoy the chaos.
For WWP, this means something we’re honestly pretty thrilled about:
Less admin. More dogs (and cats).
More time telling their stories. More reels specifically engineered to make you fall in love with an animal you’ve never met. More assessments, rescue coordination, adoptions, fundraising, medical support, community partnerships, and whatever other nonsense we can dream up to get dogs HOME.
We’re incredibly excited to continue working alongside Waterbury Animal Control and the Waterbury Police Department with clearer roles, more communication, and even more opportunities to get these animals seen.
Because that has always been the point.
To everyone who has rocked with WWP through the chaos, the criticism, the emergencies, the ridiculous captions, the heartbreak, and the very best happy endings; thank you.
You’ve understood from day one that underneath all the noise and dog propaganda, our focus has always been the animals.
And now we get to hand back a little of the administrative stuff, roll up our sleeves, and put even more energy into the part we love most:
Seeing the dogs. Knowing the dogs. Helping the dogs. Getting them home.
Now please help us make this album wildly outdated.
Adopt. Share. Tag somebody. Cause a scene.
The dogs need out. Let’s get to work. ❤️🐾
