Please join me in wishing my sweet Scrappy a (belated) Happy 13th Gotcha Day!!! Did you know Scrappy was my very first neuter (during vet school)? I picked him up from the rescue the next day, and the rest is history.

Look at how nasty my keyboard was! Working at a veterinary clinic is a messy business! Haha. Don’t worry, it’s all cleaned up now. 🧹

Anyways, I wanted to let you all know we are very short-staffed today, and I’m not feeling super swell myself.
They are also hoping to start laying the topcoat on the floors today—so it’ll be getting a little smelly.
We anticipate closing around 3pm today, I’m so sorry for the late notice.

Please be patient as we hustle to get to the phones and try to get through all of our emails. We should be back to our normal schedule tomorrow!

Howdy! Who’s ready for the weekend?!! 🙋🏻‍♀️

I just wanted to update everyone on construction progress. Our floors have been completed but are currently being touched up as there were a few places that needed a little extra TLC. This means that we cannot complete our build until the floors are completed and ready for traffic.

I know it is very hard to get in to BVC right now, and I apologize. We have been blocking off a week every month for bit now in the hopes that we will be moving. The past several months it was quite obvious that wasn’t going to happen so we quickly filled those weeks. As of right now, we are blocked the week of October 19 to potentially move. Do I think it’s going to happen? Probably not. Am I going to keep that week blocked as long as possible in the event we can move? You betcha. If it doesn’t happen in October, we’ve blocked a week in November.

This has been a very long, very trying process. We are frustrated, we are ready for construction to be done, we are ready to not be cramped into such a small place and not be running into each other constantly. Even once construction is completed, we have the arduous process of moving and setting up our new clinic.

We are asking for your patience. We know it’s frustrating. We have done our absolute best to accommodate urgent or emergency appointments, but we are very limited in our ability to do so right now. Please know we’re trying. Please also know there’s only one of me, and I am overextended in every possible way daily. If you are turned away, if your appointment isn’t for a few weeks, it’s simply because we are at capacity in one way or another.

In these cases, kindness goes a long way. We have received a slew of rude, nasty comments, and we simply do not deserve that. Please just be patient, please just be kind. I promise you it will be worth the wait, and this will be behind us so soon.

Thank you to all of our amazing clients that have lamented the process with us, who have given words of encouragement, and expressed their excitement. This lifts us up more than you know.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend! I’ve been in WA with Miranda attending a conference! Quick trip but we’re having a good time! 😊

I wanted to let you know that we will be CLOSED Tuesday and Wednesday this week (Sep 29 and 30). The fumes have become too overwhelming, and we are concerned for everyone’s, including your pets’, safety. 😷

I have been reaching out to everyone that has an appointment scheduled on either of those days, so, if you’re one of those people, please check your email! I’ll continue to try and reach out. 🗣️

In the meantime, if you need anything, please do not hesitate to email! I can keep up with those and can arrange to meet you if you need anything. 📧

I am so sorry for this last minute change and any inconvenience it may cause. Just remember, this means we’re getting closer and closer to completing construction!! 🚧

Happy Hump Day everyone!! 🐫

I wanted to introduce our newest employee, Rockz-Anne. See…we’re being overwhelmed with chemical odors from all the work being done on the floors, so we hired good ole Rockz-Anne to keep our back door from flying open. Please have your pet on a leash or in carrier when you come into the building as our doors will remain open during business hours to help with the smells.

I don’t really know when the floors will be done—of course we ran into a hiccup and needed to have the garage flooring leveled. Currently they are sanding over all the sealant they placed yesterday, then hopefully the epoxy process will get started. It is quite loud currently, and, again, smelly. We’re doing our best to work through this but we ask for your continued patience during this time.

I cannot wait to see the finished product but not in love with this process right now. 😷🥴

Sooo we may have closed the clinic and done an escape room today. 😇 We had an awesome time working together as a team and beat the room; even better, we all had fun! ☺️

Veterinary medicine is demanding, it’s stressful, it can break a person. It does break some people. It can make us butt heads in the clinic and sometimes bring out the worst of ourselves. In September, which is Su***de Prevention Month, it was really so nice to pull everyone out of the clinic and go have some fun!! And food! 🍔

Just a reminder, we are CLOSED tomorrow, September 18, as they continue to work on the floors. I hope my staff have the best day off…before we meet up tomorrow for movie night! 🍿 🎥

Reminder, we will be CLOSED Thursday and Friday, Sep. 17 and 18 due to construction. They will be grinding the concrete in preparation and it’s gonna be noisy. Please contact TODAY if you need anything.

Hi everyone!
I know I’ve been a little bit quiet lately—I’ve been quite overwhelmed to say the least.

Construction is moving along, after some hiccups, we have our drywall all repaired, all of the painting is complete, and we’re working towards completion!! (More to come on our drywall woes pending legal advice)

Unfortunately, completing construction includes some noisy days as we have epoxy flooring going in. As a result, we have decided to close Thursday September 17 and Friday September 18. Miranda has been working on getting everyone rescheduled but please plan accordingly for medication refills and pick up.

In the meantime, please know we appreciate you all and are so privileged to have such awesome clients and patients!
