✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR CORLEY RABBITRY ✨

After a lot of thought and consideration, I’ve made the decision to retire lionheads from my breeding program. ❤️ I have found there’s not a huge market for lionheads due to the high maintenance required. I need to streamline my production and dedicate my time into the top 2 breeds most loved by YOU! 😊 With that being said, I will still offer holland lops and Netherland dwarfs.

I currently have some beautiful Lionheads looking for their forever homes 🥰 If you’ve been following Corley Rabbitry and have had your eye on one of my lionheads, now is the time! Once they find their homes, I will no longer be producing lionhead litters. Message me for information, pictures, and pricing.

I’m incredibly excited about the direction Corley Rabbitry is heading, and I’m looking forward to putting even more time and attention into producing quality rabbits with the traits, temperaments, and conformation I continuously strive for. This baby gave me some turmoil while posing for pictures, but we made it through😆 Although a lot can change within the next few months, I don’t see much show potential with her compared to my other babies. She does have short well rounded ears, which I loved about her. She is being sold as pet/brood quality. I hope she progresses well if someone does decide to show her.

I’m going to try to make this as professional as possible.. if you are on my do not sell list, you know. Furthermore, DO NOT ask your “friend” to act as an intermediary, to obtain a rabbit from me on your behalf! I conduct thorough screenings before my rabbits are placed and I was informed that you actually wanted a rabbit - to mix breed, might I add 🙅‍♀️ Nope Nope Nope! I have strict policies in place and I want my rabbits to go to the best homes possible. If you are on my do not sell list, then there’s a valid reason.

🌱🐰 FEED GUIDE FOR RABBIT OWNERS 🐰🌱

One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “Which feed should I use?” Here’s a helpful breakdown of the Petrus Feed line and what each formula is designed for. Remember, every rabbit’s nutritional needs are different depending on age, activity level, and whether they’re being bred, shown, or kept as pets.

HAY MATTERS!
Remember, hay should make up the majority of your rabbit’s diet and should always be available 24/7 along with fresh water. Baby rabbits (up to about 6 months old) are still growing rapidly and need extra protein, calcium, and calories to support healthy bone and muscle development. Alfalfa hay provides these nutrients and helps fuel that growth. Once rabbits reach around 6 months of age, their growth begins to slow, and their nutritional needs change. At that point, they should transition to Timothy hay (or another grass hay), which is lower in protein and calcium but high in fiber. This helps maintain a healthy digestive system, supports dental health, and reduces the risk of obesity, bladder sludge, and other health issues associated with excess calcium.

Quick Guide:
🐇 Birth to 6 months → Unlimited Alfalfa Hay
🐰 6 months and older → Unlimited Timothy Hay

Many new bunny owners are surprised to learn that rabbits aren’t like majority of cats or dogs when it comes to attention and affection. Rabbits don’t always enjoy being touched. They are prey animals so they prefer to be petted on the floor, as opposed to being petted inside of their cage or in your arms. Knowing where your bunny likes to be pet can help build trust, strengthen your bond, and make handling a much more enjoyable experience for both of you.
