ONE MONTH until the Miri’s Haven Open House 🐾✨

This is your official invitation to come spend a hopefully sunny afternoon surrounded by senior dogs, senior dog people, and the very specific kind of wholesome nonsense that only happens when you gather a large collection of elderly little creatures with crooked legs, selective hearing, and approximately four remaining teeth between them. 🦷

Come out and:
🐕 snuggle adoptable seniors
🧍‍♀️ meet our volunteers
🐾 learn about fostering, volunteering, and rescue life at Miri’s Haven
💕 spend time with fellow lovers of tiny ancient beasts
💫 tell every pup they are gorgeous and brave and not too medically complicated

⚠️ And yes… Cornelius will be making an appearance. 🩸

For everyone’s safety, he will likely be displayed like a haunted artifact under careful supervision while admirers whisper and point from a respectful distance. There are also rumors of giant Cornelius cutouts for photos, which feels less like an important cultural moment.

Whether you’re interested in getting involved with rescue or simply want to spend the day near a gathering of strange elderly goblins in sweaters, we would absolutely love to see you there.

Rescue a Cat/Kitten Dog/Puppy from HRA (after April 1, 2026) and we, The Spirit Animal Whisperer LLC, will give you a 1 day complimentary session specifically based on your babies needs.

Our mission is to help ensure your transitions are easier and to help ensure there are less returns to HRA.

If you cannot afford training services, this is a great way to get some FREE assistance during your fur babies adjustment to their new environment/home.
