Hello Everyone, I am delighted to announce my return to providing pet sitting services following a temporary hiatus. After sustaining a rib injury and experiencing an unexpected separation from my fiancé, I took time to focus on my mental and physical health and well-being. During my absence, I successfully completed my GED classes, achieved emotional healing, and found a new best friend who is just as passionate about animals as me. I am now exploring college options to pursue a Bachelor’s degree and subsequently commission in the Marine Corps, while remaining in the veterinary medicine field during my studies. We recently adopted a dog, Axle Grease, a 9-month-old Border Collie with high energy levels, which may limit my availability for in-house pet sitting. However, I am now offering daily check-ins, dog walking, nail trimming, and medication administration services. As I will be staying in the DMV area during the holiday season, please feel free to contact me to inquire about my availability for pet care services during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. 🤗

My cat is very anxious and spent most of the time hiding under the bed, but Ofrah was incredibly patient, staying for up to an hour some days to try and connect with her. My name is Ofrah. Originally from South Africa 🇿🇦, I moved to Washington DC in November to be closer to my Fiancé who serves in the US Marine Corps 🦅

From a young age I have had a love and passion for animals; I grew up on a farm surrounded by many of them, big and small, domestic and wild. I have been in vetmed for about a year and a half, and petsitting has become a hobby/side hustle for me.

In between work, I am available to take care of your fur baby while you are out of town, or for midday walks or help medicating your pet. Basically if your pet needs caretaking, and you’re located in or around NW Washington DC, I’m the gal you reach out to.
