It has been a while since we have posted! Between winter coat removal, tornadoes, days and days and days of rain (which means days of mud!), and assorted other trials, we certainly have been busy!
Things are a bit calmer now and we are settling in to Spring, warmer temps, and green grass.
Everyone came through winter well and the "green" is helping to fatten them up!
If you are in the area, feel free to reach out, come by, and say hi. The peace that exists in our pastures is amazing❣️

It seems like forever that I have posted. Life is really busy but all is good with the herd.
Spring is coming fast and furious and the hair is flying.
Mares are crazy but, in the world of rescue- that's a good thing!
We brought in a skidsteer to scrap and move all the winter mess and clear another pasture. Have you all seen the price of diesel lately?? I think we used at least $300 worth this weekend.
