Spent the last half of June with Ollie and Grizzly while their people were in Hawaii on a family vacation! 🐾 🏝️

Ollie is the energetic, rambunctious younger brother. He always has to be first, loves to pester his older brother into wrestling matches, and is definitely a Velcro pup. I’m pretty sure he has no idea how big he is! He’s also very vocal and makes sure everyone knows when there’s a person, or a squirrel, on the property. Exploring the woods around their home is one of his favorite things to do.

Grizzly is the ultimate calm, patient older brother. He lets it slide when Ollie pushes past him to get in or out the door first. His favorite things are playing ball, getting head and ear scratches, and just hanging out. He’s the definition of chill and easygoing.

We always love spending time with these two. They have such different personalities, but they’re both incredibly sweet and so much fun to care for. ❤️

Wrapped up a 2½ week stay with Mac and Cassie last night. They are both such sweeties.

Cassie (cat) loves being outside, so that’s where she spends most of her days. When she comes in at night, she likes to cuddle up near you on the couch and then pull out all her toys to play while everyone else is sleeping.

Mac (dog) just wants to be wherever you are. He stays close by at all times. He loves long walks around their property, so we got plenty of exercise during our time together.

We know they were excited to have their people back home! We were happy to keep them loved, safe, and well cared for while their parents enjoyed a birthday trip to Florida.

That’s what pet sitting is all about-giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away and making sure their pets are happy and comfortable at home.

📣 Price Update Coming June 1, 2026

Starting 6/1/26, a few services will have a small $5–$10 increase.

Any bookings made before 4/20/26 will stay at the current rate.

I’m also implementing a cancellation Policy:
Life happens. I get it. If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 48 hours ahead so I can try to fill the spot.
Cancellations under 48 hours may be charged 50% of the booking.

Meet the face behind Paws & Claws Pet Sitting

Hi, I’m Kelli!

A little about me:

I started pet sitting in January 2025, and it has been such a fun and rewarding experience. I started this journey after our family’s German Shepherd passed away on Easter 2024. I wasn’t ready for another pet of our own yet. Pet sitting has given me the chance to meet, love, and care for so many wonderful pets while helping families at the same time.

While I mostly care for dogs and cats, I’ve also looked after 4H market rabbits, chickens, and even turkeys - I love all animals.

Since starting this business, I’ve worked with pets of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets and your home in someone else’s care, so I always aim to give both you and your pets the best possible experience. I will send daily updates with pictures to help you stay connected while you’re away. I have many repeat customers, and I’m happy to share references or reviews upon request.

And when I housesit, I try to leave your home better than I found it. No one wants to come home from vacation to floors covered in dog and/or cat hair.

I also wanted to let everyone know that the only weekend we currently have available over the next few months is the weekend of May 1. After that, our next opening isn’t until July. I always feel bad when we book up so quickly-I hate having to turn people down. As usual, drop‑ins and walks can almost always be accommodated, so feel free to reach out and we’ll get you on the schedule.

Walked Zena 3x a day from 1/15–1/18, and she seriously amazes me. She’s a 20 year old pitbull who still loves getting out for her strolls. We just take it slow and go at her pace, but she still has plenty of pep. She’s such a sweet girl. ❤️
