So sorry I haven't been posting. I have been working a lot. I was moved to a manger so alot of time has gone to working.

But,
We do have a litter that will be ready in 3 weeks. And we also, have a litter due in a few days.
Father to both litters is a Silvermane.
Hoping to start getting Silvermane .... If not that's fine. We will be keeping a few back from each litter.

Litter that will be ready in 3 weeks has 14 Total in the litter. Mother is a double Rex. She barely has any hair at all. But, is the best mama ever. Her babies are her pride and joy. And are growing so good. (Will get pictures as soon as I can)

Please bare with me. I'm doing the best I can between work and family and pets. I will try and do better at answering messages. But, my Facebook does not tell me when I get messages. So, like I said please bare with me.

What are we working on this year? 2026!

If you are interested in knowing anything about any of the types I have named above please don't be scared to message me. Or if you wish to be put on a list for one of the types above please let me know. It does not cost a thing. And I just take your name and number and or email. Once litter is born I will inform you. And we can go from there.

All litters will be tested, and not all babies will be adopted out as pets. Please understand I like only adopting out what I feel is pet acceptable. I do not go off of colors, or looks of a rat. It is temperament and health!

We will also start taking litters to be seen by a new vet we have just recently found. So yes, the health of our rats do matter to us.

And I promise, as soon as I'm able to get a new phone I will take way more photos for you guys. As of right now I have been having to put money towards Everything else so I don't have it right now to get a new phone. And my phone I have now has a big crack in the camera so the pictures come out blurry. Sorry about this. But, just please bare with me. And I promise things will get better. It just will take some time.

Hello My Lovely Rattie People!

I am here with some awesome news. And some not so much "awesome" news.

Well, we will get started with our first pairings of the new year.

•~: Cheddar Bob(Agouti Silvermane, standard) was paired with a Cinnamon, Standard dumbo. And an Agouti Double Rex. Dumbo

•~: Why was a Silvermane bred to a double Rex? Well.... It's simple. I do not want to add the other colors / types to my line I am creating. I know this will take time to work with and I am ready to put the time into it. But, I want to create a Double Rex line. And work my way to where they have little to no fuzz on them at all. This will take time. And this is something for myself. To be honest. I love the temperaments of all three rats being bred. And it has some meaning to it. Like I said this will be a line I'm working on for myself. And I have promised a few to a few breeders I know. So, there's that also.

•~: Yes, we will be testing some temperaments and if some pass they will be open for new 🏡places to roam.

•~: It is a miracle, we will be getting back two female Siamese from our "Seal Point Siamese" line we had cut off due to having to put the last and only one of the bloodline that we had left. She was too old to breed. And I was a dummy and let all my last litter go instead of keeping back down to keep the line going. I fall for good homes and if a good home comes along then yes, I will let them go. I'm not selfish. And I do funk up from time to time. I am not perfect. (This does not mean these rats will be bred! So, please do not take that as such. We do and will take back any and all rats we have let free in the world. Because, we care about our babies. They are not just rats to me. They are like my fur kids. And get spoiled like such.

-NOW FOR THE NEWS WE ALL DON'T WANT TO HEAR....
I have made the choice not to breed the female hairless dwarf. My reason is,
I do not know much about dwarfs and I honestly don't feel like I am ready to take on another project at this time. And also, for some reason she cannot be with other rats without wanting to murder them. But, her being so much smaller than the other girls, she doesn't really ever win the fights she starts. So she has become, my daughter's bedroom pet rat and will remain a pet for the rest of her life. I am so sorry to have gotten anyone's hopes up. I do apologize. But, I do not feel comfortable with either reason I have given above. So I will stick with what I know so far.
I will be breeding at my own pace. I will not be breeding to please others. Please do not message me a million times asking me to breed such and such so you can get some as soon as such and such. And the whole bang bang Wala Wala lala ......ya know?
Please bare with me guys. I am doing my best and I really don't want to start off the year with to much for me to handle

Well my ratties folks,
I have started working. Which means, the pairing of rats and breeding will be at a slower pace.

We have a few things we are cooking up. Such as ....
Silvermane in Black and Agouti (So far)
Hairless
Double Rex
Rex
Marten
Marble

And for now that is all.
But, only time will tell if we truly are going to be working with everything mentioned or if we will cut another line.... Like I always state. We are trying to make healthy rats who live longer. Quality over quantity!

Can't wait to get to work with some of these projects. I am so excited about a few of them.

Well everyone,
We now will be working with dwarf hairless. Or well just hairless. Not really sure I'm all that interested in the whole dwarf thing. But, we shall see how it goes.
Please remember if I don't feel comfortable moving forward with a line that I won't and I will cut it off for good. We are not just trying to work with different types but, also their health. So, bare with me as we work with this new project. 💜

WELCOME BACK TO RATTA TATTA RATS RATTERY HAIRLESS RATTIES.💜
If you have been following us from the beginning, back in 2010-2011 then you would know that was started out with breeding nothing but hairless and Rex. And now we have them both back. Very happy moment for me. I love hairless and I and I love with Lottah already.
She is only 7 months old and fully Hairless dumbo. She came from Mountain Rodents in West Virginia!

Our Martens are paired! 🐀🤞

This is Cola & Jackie Chans last pairing together. They will be retired after this.
This will be a full litter of martens.
Mix of top ear & Dumbo's.
Standard coat type.
-The last babies they had were the most chunkiest babies I ever had. Loved to be handled.
Both parents are sweet and kind. Love being handled and enjoy being babied. Dad is the the biggest boy I ever had. He enjoys his food and doesn't miss a snack or meal. That ain't no joke. Mom is very smart. Comes to me when called. She knows her name and knows when you call for her. She is more out going and enjoys her time just running around the house. As to dad who rather be with you. Chilling. Waiting on those snacks.
Babies should be just as sweet and out going. Hopefully the males come out as big as dad. Would love to have some more big babies.

This litter we will be keeping about most to half of them. We will let you know what will be available. But, there won't be very many available in this litter. 💜

Well my rat family .. we have bad news. 🐀🙁

Sadly, we will no longer be breeding Siamese at this time. I have placed my last two males from my line in a good pet home. And have made the choice to end the line because, well I have a good run with it. But, after years of having to always pretty much start over(or well it would feel like I had too) and putting so much work into them, I just feel like after Mama had passed away a few months ago, that it just didn't feel right no more.
Yes, I love my Siamese, some of my favorite I ever had besides the hairless I use to breed. I put so much time into this line. I have note books full of notes and lineage. Hell I thought about letting another breeder maybe take them on. But ... After thinking it threw, I rather just end the line and move on.
One day I will breed them again, yes.
Right, now .. no.

I'm sorry if that upsets anyone. But, it is my own personal choice. And I feel as if it is what I want to do. 💜

BUT,
We will be continuing on with the few we still do have. My martens and marbles.
I will be breeding Rex / Velveteen and Double Rex still of course. Colors will be whatever comes out. Not really focused on colors right now. Health is my main goal, and just like my Siamese I will cut a line if I feel the need too. 🫤 Even though I hate doing it.

WE are also on the market for something new. Something we can work on and enjoy the process of it. Open to anything. Hell might even go back to normal hoods and variegated. Who knows. 🙃

Will let you guys know as time goes on. Promise.
