Hi friends, we normally share the glamorous parts of Oliver's life on his account, but this isn't that kind of post. The truth is: its been a scary 72 hours for Oliver. What started as diarrhea quickly escalated to a possible mass on his spleen, emergency hospital intervention, CT scans, fluids and meds, and more. LUCKILY, the potential mass on the spleen was ruled out and there are no masses within his abdomen or chest. Huge sigh of relief. That said, he's dealing with extreme gastro issues. So bad that they really took him down. He was dehydrated, unable to walk, wasn't eating, etc. It's times like this that we realize that our majestic beast--no matter how big and strong--can easily face things that take him down. The good news is that he's finally home, resting, starting to eat and heal. So today, there won't be any glamour shots of Oliver, but rather a real look at what it means to love and care for such a giant breed... that has a giant hold on our hearts. Thank you to all who have reached out to support us over the past few days. You're truly the best. β₯οΈ
