Dogs of Hope

HOPE is the state motto of Rhode Island, and dogs may be the most hopeful of all beings. What can your dog teach you about hope?

I'm an amateur photographer, originally from NH, living in Providence, RI (aka "The Creative Capital"). I believe that big changes can come from small ideas. Taking photographs of dogs in my community is one small idea that I hope will raise hope in a big way.

The Super Dog Adoption Day is an amazingly heartwarming event.

But here's the real takeaway. For every dog adopted, there is at least one volunteer, and one nonprofit tirelessly advocating for them.

And if we add in all the people in the families who adopted them, that's a whole lotta love. ♥️🐕❤️

The number is in! 🥁 380 families are little bit larger and a lot warmer tonight. Thank you to our rescues, our volunteers, Clark Farms, and of course, our amazing adopters for making today, our 15th Super Dog, another huge success! Without all of you, none of this would be possible.

350+ adoptable dogs!!!

Our goal is to let you get to know these wonderful dogs in a relaxed, family friendly setting. All the dogs are on leash so that you can see how great they are with other dogs and amongst people.

I'm told Bonnie and her BFF Connie spent months on the street down south, alluding help. They finally caught one, and the other gave herself up to be with her friend. Both dogs are being fostered by Save One Soul Animal Rescue League.

All 13 of Janie's puppies were adopted, but Sweet Jane is still looking for a home. She's very shy, and very sweet. She's currently being fostered through Save One Soul Animal Rescue League.
