Mint, CH Del Brave Penny Bank CGC TKN, takes Best of Opposite S*x at the 2025 AKC Nationals in Orlando FL under UK judge Frank Zane. She is a pleasure to show, keeps getting better as the competition progresses, reminding me of when I handled Cheers years ago at aN ACC National. Besides an outstanding coat she has the short loin and correct balance for good movement. Earlier in the week she won Select Bitch, judge just couldn't pull the trigger, a good result anyway. This is the second year in a row for a BOS award for a Del Brave female, Jetty was last year.

Thought I'd try something new so I signed Kiki up for a tracking class. Track is 60 paces to a left turn for 40 paces then a right turn for 50 paces to the end. A normal track in a test is 450 to 500 yards. In a real test there would be no flags marking the track except at the start and finish line. Establishing good tracking posture - nose to ground at all times - and me recognizing she lost scent at a turn were the two goals of the class.
