God keeps His promises.
God is Faithful.
God…. Is not a God of scarcity.

“In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing: “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “ ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’ ” Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem.”

160 years before THIS verse - God spoke these words to Isaiah-
70 years in exile the Israelites NOW we’re going to go back to Jerusalem- to rebuild the temple….
God moved the heart of a king who wasn’t following Him- to not only have PROVISIONS for BUT also PROTECTION for them- as they went on their journey.
God is never late or worried…..

What is God stirring in your heart?
What is God calling you out in faith to do, like this king?
What promise are you waiting on?

If your in a season of waiting- where are His gentle reminders?
If your in a season of working out His plans of rebuilding- what are the provisions???
These are all pieces of YOUR testimony-
Tell it to someone who needs to hear it today 💟✝️
Keep trusting Him.
Keep following Him.
He can move the heart of kings- provide in ways we can’t comprehend- and make a way when it doesn’t make sense….
Yahweh- is Lord of All 💟✝️

“Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The disciples came to Jesus- and he began to teach them.
While the multitude of people caused him to go up the mountain- Jesus focused on his core group.
Sometimes I feel like I “get lost” in the multitude of “things” that weigh me down.
Jesus is here… there…
IN whatever “mountain “ moment I’m in-
WAITING to teach ME (And you too).
They didn’t have a fancy table- or the perfect scenario all prepared…
They had the PRESENT moment
A N D Jesus.
I get lost in the hustle and bustle of the day so often-
When my Savior is sitting… on the mountain, waiting for me to slow down and come sit with him.

As we approach the Labor Day weekend…
I’m grateful for the ability to work- and the purpose God has for each of us.
Lord help us, find those precious moments to join you in the mountain…
To sit with you for a cup of coffee-
To listen for your still small voice on our drive to work-
To hear your whisper in the moments of our busy days-
You are always with us- that, you have promised-
Teach us Lord-
We are listening, here in the mountains of our day 💟

Meekness- like a tamed - powerful horse-responsive to the bridle.

How I love to watch these “old time
Demonstrations “
The power- grit- and cooperation of horse and human.
As God knocks on the door of our hearts- he uses this analogy of our reliance on HIM.

Meekness is Gods strength, under control. This must be cultivated IN us- so it can be lived out through us.
In the daily submission and surrendering of our will- Lord, may Yours be Done - in and throughout our lives today ✝️💟🐴

The urgency of horses… standing- WAITING at the gate.
Jesus is knocking on the gates of:
our hearts -
The gates of our homes-
The gates of our lives-

Longing to sit at your table.
Open the gates of your lives…

Like these horses that would come galloping out- Jesus is there waiting-
To be a part of your DAILY life.
Not an outsider watching- he wants to sit and nourish your life- at the seat of your table.

Let us not be complacent- and wait another day-
Let us be doers of the Word✝️
