Vinnie update ๐Ÿ’™

Itโ€™s hard to believe how much Vinnie has grown since finding his forever home! Watching him grow into such a handsome, healthy boy has truly been the sweetest thing. The older he gets, the more we can see his mama in him โ€” you can really see her in his looks.

He is absolutely thriving, and seeing these updates means more to us than words can say. Nothing makes us happier than knowing one of our babies is loved, spoiled, and living the life they deserve.

Thank you, Susan Booth, for loving Vinnie so well, for continuing to share him with us, and for always supporting SWVA Animal Haven. Just look at this good-looking boy! ๐Ÿพ

Being a 501(c)(3) rescue means we are a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving animals and relying on adoptions, donations, and community support to continue helping those in need.

What many people may not realize is just how important adoptions are to a rescue like ours. Every adoption opens the door for another life to be saved.

Some of these dogs and cats spend months โ€” even over a year โ€” living in our home and becoming part of our family. We love them deeply, which is why it is heartbreaking when they continue to be overlooked.

At some point, some animals have to be moved to another rescue or placement in hopes they may finally find the forever home they deserve. Not because they are unwanted here, but because they deserve permanency, stability, and a family of their own.

No animal deserves to spend their life waiting.

If you have ever considered adopting, now is a wonderful time to check out our available animals. One adoption changes everything for that animal and allows us to continue helping others in need.

And even if you cannot adopt, sharing our posts truly matters. One simple share could help our animals reach the person meant for them.

This sweet boy is the definition of a cuddle bug โ€” he loves being close to his people and will happily sprawl out beside you for snuggles. But donโ€™t let the cuddles fool youโ€ฆ he also has that loyal โ€œIโ€™ve got your backโ€ kind of love that makes you feel protected, too.

Some people support quietly, consistently, and with their whole heart โ€” and that kind of kindness deserves to be recognized.

Thank you so much for the food, vitamins for Ginger, and the dog food you sent. Every single bit of it helps more than you know.

In rescue, there are hard days. Days that feel heavy, overwhelming, and impossible to keep up with. But people like her are the reason we keep going. No matter the need, her kindness and support for SWVA Animal Haven never go unnoticed.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for continuing to stand beside us and these animals. We appreciate you more than you know. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ’œ Helping Ginger Continue Her Fight ๐Ÿ’œ

Sweet Ginger is still bravely fighting FIP, and she has come so far. โค๏ธ We truly wouldnโ€™t be here without our supporters who helped make her treatment possible. She continues to thrive on her high-protein canned diet, along with daily powdered vitamins to help keep her strong as she heals. Right now, we are running very low on both and she is almost out. If anyone is able to help, her wishlist will be in the comments. Every single can and every item truly matters in her fight.
