Dasher + Blitzen, Betsy + Martha, Ronnie, Ollie + Poppy, Gemini + Leo, April, Killian, Alistair + Maurice, Schmidt, Dinklemire, Wally, Jackob + Spencer, Diet Coke + Fresca, Zade, Onyx, Lucy, Muenster + Feta + Pepper Jack + Gouda; Jax + Jillybean, Linus + Snoopy and Lennox have all found their forever homes. 🐈🐾💓🥳

We are looking for a special home for a very special mama and her bonded baby. Mama Pretzel came to the rescue pregnant and scared. A couple days later she was having trouble delivering and had to be rushed in for a c-section.

There was only one surviving baby, baby Popsicle, but her and her mom have been inseparable since. We would love to find a home where they can stay together.

Mama Pretzel has come out of her scaredy cat phase so much while at her fosters but she does tend to hide around visitors until she warms up.

Baby Popsicle on the other hand is fearless but her mama has taught her well. She is a very well behaved kitten but she does still enjoy playing, exploring, and chasing her cat toys around.

Mama Pretzel is still young herself (around 1-2 years old) so she also loves playing but also likes to seek out a hand for scratches. Sometimes even flipping over on her back for xtra scratches. She will need a special home because although she is so sweet and loving she is also scared around anything/anyone new and will need someone who is understanding of that and willing to be patient with her.

🐾 Just a Little Suckle Session 🐾

It may look a little silly, but this adorable behavior actually serves a purpose. 💛

So, why do kittens suckle? 🍼🐱

Suckling is a natural comfort behavior that kittens develop while nursing with their mom. Some kittens, especially those who were orphaned, separated from mom early, or hand-raised, continue the behavior because it helps them feel secure and relaxed.

They may choose soft blankets, stuffed toys, their own paws… or, apparently, the fuzzy carpet on a cat tower! 😂

Think of it as their own little way of saying, “I’m comfy, I’m safe, and I’m happy.” 🥹💕

And we’re perfectly okay with that. ❤️
