Sometimes it looks like boxes of food arriving less than 24 hours after we say we’re running low.
Sometimes it looks like a volunteer and her husband refusing to give up until an entire family is safe.
Here recently, it looked like all of those things.

To the anonymous donors who sent food, the people who shared our urgent post, the supporters who donated a few dollars and the volunteers doing the hard work behind the scenes: thank you.

There is no government funding quietly keeping The Catty Shack running. There is simply a community of people who decide these cats matter—and then do something about it.

If you remember, one of these tiny criminals—who shall remain unnamed—figured out how to unlock the kennel doors and helped orchestrate not one, but TWO escapes. 🫣

Either they’ve decided to turn their lives around or they’re quietly planning something much bigger. 👀

For now everyone is safe, settling in, and slowly learning that humans might not be so bad.
