❤️‍🩹 Wellness Shot for Dogs!! ❤️‍🩹
(May help prevent the big C)

Ingredients:

1 cup low-sodium bone broth
1/4 cup blueberries
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions:

Add the bone broth, blueberries, turmeric, ginger, chia seeds, and coconut oil to a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Let the mixture sit for 5–10 minutes so the chia seeds can soften.

Pour into small shot glasses or an ice cube tray.

Serve a small amount based on your dog's size.

Suggested Servings:

Small dogs: 1–2 teaspoons
Medium dogs: 1 tablespoon
Large dogs: 1–2 tablespoons

Storage:

Refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Freeze in silicone molds for up to 2 months.

As nice as it is to be able to utilize the neighborhood kids to walk your dog for a cheap price…. there are a lot of reasons it’s not the best option. Dog walking is not as simple as people may think! Dogs get loose, get into compromising situations (I.e., reactivity from them, other pets being walked, or surrounding wildlife excitement), and it’s not always easy to deal with for adults let alone children. Please take this into consideration when looking for pet services assistance as liability is super important and the outdoors is an unpredictable place!! 💫

This is something SPECIAL. Many homeless people who have pets don’t start off homeless. How hard would it be for you to give up your family member when things hit the fan?! I hope more shelters find ways to allow folks to bring their pets with them. 🩶🐾

Shelters recognize that many would rather sleep on the street than leave their animals behind.

Two dolphins and three turtles washed up dead on Ocean View beaches over the past week, the Virginia Aquarium confirmed to WAVY.

A spokesperson for the aquarium said its response team is aware of these cases, having received several reports from the public.
