Double Dose Edition

Meet BEAMER & TACHIKARA

Beamer joined Sunset Goldens in early 2021. She is a Tille (retired) and Mac (retired) daughter. She loves to carry things in her mouth. She if often found lying in the window, watching the world. Beamer traces back to our OG sunsets line. Beamer's nickname is B-Dizzle. She lives with her daughter, Chandler, 1/2 sister Mayhem (retired), and niece Tachikara. Beamer was bred to Diesel and is due anyday now. We have room on her call list.

Tachikara goes by "Tachi" for short. She joined Sunset Goldens in early 2024. She is a Mayhem (retired) and Diesel daughter. Her humans are volleyball fans 😉. She loves her human dad more than her human mom. She needs to be by a human and touching them at all times. She loves walks and is a very prancy lady. She loves rides in the car. Tachi lives with her mom, Mayhem, aunt Beamer and cousin Chandler. Tachi was bred to Hercules and is due any day now. We have room on her call list.

“For 10 incredible years, Francis, my loyal and loving English black Labrador has been by my side through life‘s highest highs and lowest lows. As a combat veteran I know the value of unwavering loyalty, unshakable resilience, and unrelenting trust and Francis has embodied those qualities every single day, never faulting or wavering. He’s been my steady companion, my grounding presence and my quiet support through personal growth, professional milestones, and my work as a counselor with veterans affairs, where I’ve had the privilege of serving those who have served our country. I’ve seen him sit by my side during late night study sessions comforting me as I poured over textbooks and notes, and I’ve seen him stand by me during difficult counseling sessions, providing a sense of calm and reassurance to those who needed it most. After 10 years of faithful service Francis has earned the right to rest and retire to enjoy the fruits of his labor and bask in the love and adoration of our family. I am eternally grateful to Sunset golden retrievers for this opportunity to welcome a new service puppy into my life, representing continuity, hope and healing Francis will pass the torch, teaching the new puppy, the importance of loyalty, patience, and purpose and I have no doubt that they will learn from the best. As I look back on the past decade I’m filled with gratitude and love for my loyal companion, and I know that the next chapter of our journey will be just as bright and Beautiful.”

Sunset Goldens is eternally grateful for Amanda‘s service to our country and the work she continues to do and the small role we get to play in her continued healing and therapy with a Sunset Golden. We hope this new baby named after a fallen warrior, “Ronnie”, is just as good as your precious Francis has been for you. We are also so grateful for the work that Paws assisting wounded warriors does in connecting warriors with their dogs and being part of their training. Thank you for letting us be part of this!!!!
