❤️Meet Sweet Pea❤️
Today, we are honored to introduce you to Sweet Pea, a beautiful soul whose life is finally beginning to change.
A few days ago, one of our team members came across a Facebook post from a Maryland page about a little dog who had been surviving on the streets for more than three months. At People & Pets Together Incorporated Rescue, we believe that when it comes to saving lives, there are no boundaries. We are always willing to work alongside any rescue, organization, or individual who shares the same mission.
Our common purpose is always the same: to be a voice for the voiceless.
One of our members reached out to the incredible people who worked tirelessly, as a team, to safely rescue Sweet Pea. We immediately offered to welcome her into our rescue, and thanks to the compassion, dedication, and teamwork of many wonderful people, Sweet Pea is finally safe.
After her rescue, the required stray hold period established by the City of Baltimore was completed, but no one came to claim her. Now, she has a new chance at life.
This Thursday, Sweet Pea has an appointment with Wolf Trap Animal Rescue, whose veterinary team has helped save thousands of animals. They have generously offered exceptional veterinary care at a price that makes it possible for us to continue helping dogs like Sweet Pea, and they were able to see her in less than a week.
We believe Sweet Pea may be pregnant, so she will undergo a full medical evaluation. We are praying that every test comes back with good news and that she is healthy.
Despite everything she has endured, Sweet Pea’s heart remains full of love. She is incredibly sweet, house-trained, wonderful with other dogs, cats, children, and rides beautifully in the car. She truly is a gentle, loving girl who deserves nothing but kindness from now on.
Once she has received all the medical care she needs, completed her recovery, and is ready for adoption, we will begin searching for the forever family she has always deserved.
