So bummed about this 😭 did such a good job brushing everything but his groin area and ofc this happens. Never wanted to cut any hair off him ever. Make sure to brush your dogs!!

Perhaps my favorite thing about myself is that I’ve never had the same idea of success as the world does. A big flashy business, the favor of the “in” crowd, doing it all but for what - money, validation, applause? All of it is a chase that never stops when you live for other people’s approval even though social media sets you up for just that.

All of this - my interest in learning more about dogs - started with a desire to connect with other people when I felt I couldn’t and learn to take care of my own dog’s coat at the time. It’s exceeded all of that and more. The friends I’ve made, fellow dog groomers and trainers, supporters and encouragers. Now building my own dog pack as an educated owner! Being able to support new groomers/trainers and refer of pet businesses!

Don’t let anyone else define your dreams and success. Don’t let silence at the beginning be a reason you quit, show up and the right people will find you!! Right now, I’m choosing to prioritize motherhood, choosing peace over burnout. Small, slow progress doesn’t equate to insignificance or failure. I’m a small business owner doing a little bit of everything because I love learning about and working with dogs! Because becoming a part of the dog community, learning to be the best dog owner I can, and the skills I have now has changed my life. 🤍

Thank you all for your support! Thank you guys for trusting me with your pets!! I think of the dogs I’ve groomed and helped training with every day!

Building a confident dog means accepting he’s going to lay on random sticks I guess 🤷‍♀️ Still working on stranger danger, he’s not a fan of fireworks. Blowing off heel was our main focus of today! Not shown was refreshing car boundaries where I hid behind the car with the door open 😅 training can be as weird as you make it lol
