I recently got a new computer and was cleaning my old one out when I found a folder of old dog pics from 2008. These were the first Bombshells. The OGs.

This here is Harlow. She is the first dog that Bombshell Bullies pulled from Animal Control when we became a corporation. And, luckily for Harlow, one of my close friends adopted her so I got to watch her grow old and happy and live out her years loved and in a home like all dogs deserve. Harlow passed away a few years ago, but she will always be remembered as the First Bombshell. She was a symbol of hope, second chances, and the incredible difference one life can make. As I write this, I am reminded of why we started this rescue, why we keep going, and why every dog deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and wanted. Harlow encouraged us to never underestimate the impact we can make when we choose compassion. Her story is a reminder that one rescue can become a movement, one second chance can inspire countless more, and one dog can be the reason we continue fighting for those in need.

We hope her legacy continues to inspire us all to see the potential in every dog, lend a helping hand, and make a difference when we can.

Cheers to you, sweet girl! Your rescue was just the beginning!

Leona is a Mastiff mix with a heart as big as she is! She is a fun-loving, happy girl that falls in love with whoever will play fetch with her and her duckie. She bonds quickly and loves being part of the action - playing, hanging, and soaking up attention. She has a sweet, affectionate personality and a goofy side that makes it impossible not to love. She prefers people to dogs and older kids to young ones, but her favorite thing on the world is her duckie.
