Florida hunters, it’s a great time to gear up for the season!

Florida’s Hunting, Fishing, and Camping Sales Tax Holiday is here from September 1st, 2026, through December 31st, 2026, offering a sales tax exemption on qualifying outdoor gear and equipment.

Whether you’re getting ready for an upcoming hunt or simply refreshing your gear for the season ahead, this is a great opportunity to save while supporting Florida’s outdoor traditions.

And while you’re planning for the season, don’t forget to reserve your next Silver Lake Preserve hunt at the link below.👇

Whoa training
I start them young. I taught Sis this today. Now it’s whoa before we go outside then she is released after the door is open. I use whoa instead of stay with pointers. Then you incorporate it into everyday stuff so that when we get started on birds she knows for sure what it means. It’s all familiar. I do on and off training with your dog. I don’t need to have them all the time. They need to know they aren’t mine so we break it up. Plus I can get hard work done and then when it comes time for your dog to be finished I will keep them until they are ready. Flexible scheduling it’s the way that I do most of my training. So far I have been very successful with it. Plus my clients keep their dogs and are a part of all my work.
