Mutts & Misfits Our mission is to support every Mutt & Misfit we can through the rescue to adoption process.

This means taking the time to stop for the dogs who need us the most - the dogs who need additional medical care or help working through behavioral issues. This is a time consuming and expensive process, which is why these dogs often slip through the cracks and fall off the radar.

Welcome Karmy to M&M! He is and English Lab and estimated to be 3 years old. He was neutered and vaccinated yesterday. We will spend the next few weeks getting to know his personality, while he recovers. Stay tuned for more details on this handsome guy!

The boys are officially in training!

So what does that look like right now for Flint, Pork & Beans? The basics. The foundation. The life skills that help dogs feel more confident, connected and successful in everyday life.

We are starting with learning how to pause at thresholds, and that always begins at the crate door. We are also playing fun engagement games to help teach them their names, build handler focus and begin working on recall.

Of course, they are also getting social group play time and learning how to exist calmly and appropriately around other dogs.

These boys are making progress every day and we are so excited to watch them continue to grow.

We finally settled on a name…Bernie.

Bernie is a 4 year old St Berndoodle. He has a very kind disposition! He is kid and dog friendly. We are still working through some ear and skin issues, but he is handling it like a champ. We will be working on some basic manners, while in our care. Keep an eye out for more info. You can find him under “recovery room”, on our site.

We are starting to see their individual personalities. They are all sweet pups!!! Flint is a goofball and is great at entertaining himself. We will be looking for foster homes for all of these kiddos soon.
