Yesterday was a big day for our sweet Waffles 🥹❤️ She officially went to her forever home!

Watching our rescue babies find families is always emotional, but it’s extra special when one of our “special needs” kitties gets the chance they deserve. These babies may need a little extra care, patience, or understanding, but they are just as deserving of love and a happy ending.

Seeing Waffles find her people reminds us why we do this. Thank you to her amazing adopters for opening your hearts and giving this sweet girl the forever home she deserves 🐾💕

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at the Van Del Drive-In Theater for having us out last weekend and for choosing to donate the raffle proceeds to Salsas Legacy Rescue. ❤️

Today is definitely bittersweet. Ulma is starting a new chapter, and even though it’s hard to say goodbye, she’s heading to someone patient, understanding, and who truly loves helping traumatized dogs. Having someone with more time to work with this sweet girl gives us so much hope for her future.

Huge thanks to Jeff for opening his home and heart to a nervous girl and giving her the time, patience, and support she needs to settle in and continue building confidence.

Ulma was clearly so loved, and that foundation will stay with her wherever she goes. We’re hopeful this next step helps guide her toward the forever home she deserves.

Meet Jasper, a 12-year-old Maine C**n mix with a gentle soul and so much love left to give. This sweet senior boy came to us after his owner could no longer care for him due to health issues, and now he’s looking for his forever home

Jasper would love a quiet home where he can spend his days lounging in sunny spots, enjoying cozy naps, and soaking up all the love and attention. He does okay with dogs but would thrive best in a home without dogs — ideally as the only pet or with other calm cats.

Jasper is the kind of cat who reminds you how special senior pets are. He’s calm, affectionate, and simply wants a safe, loving place to call home for his golden years. Could you be the one to give this handsome boy the happy ending he’s been waiting for?
