I can’t believe I got a picture of Stewie sitting still. Seriously, it’s practically an impossible feat!

The Hart house had the honor of puppy sitting Stewie all weekend while his fosters were out of town. While he was here, he made it his mission to wear all of us (canine and human) out… And he was quite successful!

I can’t believe I got a picture of Stewie sitting still. Seriously, it’s practically an impossible feat!

We love it when our foster parents share stories about their pups! It helps us search for the right kind of home for them and sometimes it’s also quite funny. Yesterday we received this from Stewie’s foster parents:

“He always wants to be in your arms with his seemingly infinite supply of love to share, yet he also has a constant urge to be mischievous.

We were babysitting our nephews this weekend and we found that he does absolutely well with kids. The younger one didn’t want to stop playing and neither did he. But the next morning he went to wake Stewie up and after opening his eyes Stewie looked up at him, sighed, and went back to bed. I swear this has been the only time I’ve ever seen Stewie like that as most mornings he goes from 1 to 100 in the blink of an eye.”

As we get to know Stewie, here is what we’ve learned about this bundle of energy:
Stewie’s favorite pastimes include- hiking, zoomies down hallways, nibbling on toes, jumping as high as he possibly can and going for car rides.

Meet Magpie!

She is our newest (of three new rescue pups) here at

So far, Magpie is really good at asking for cuddles and tummy rubs and eating rotisserie chicken. What she’s not so sure about (but already working on) is walking through front/back doors and using a leash.
