one thing i always tell couples about their wedding day:
leave room for the small moments!

not everything needs to be crammed into a packed timeline. some of my favorite images happen between moments when you’re not even thinking. cake cutting is one of those parts of the day people sometimes underestimate, or blow past.

everyone remembers the first dance or ceremony photos, but the photos people usually end up emotionally attached to later are the ones where they look like themselves. laughing because somebody almost dropped cake, or looking at each other for a second when nobody else is involved…. the little interactions that would’ve happened whether a camera was there or not are some of the most important.

these moments are what make a gallery actually feel personal instead of just “wedding photos.”
