After a bit of a hiatus... and a global pandemic, I am back!

And what a better way to come back than with a sweet One Year Session with Miss Eloise. It's hard to believe it was just over a year ago that I met sweet Eloise and her loving family.

The moment I got home, I put my memory card into my laptop to look over the photos and I knew instantly this would be both a hard and an easy session in post-production. Easy because I had the best model in front of my camera. And hard because of the large selection of sweet moments I was able to capture of Eloise. I couldn't help myself and had to post a few sneak peeks because... well I just had to!

It is hard to believe that it has already been one year since you left us on earth. You are so much more than my Father-In-Love (aka Father-In-Law). You are and always will be "Dad" to me. I am blessed to have had two Dads in my life and I have sooo many beautiful memories of you and the positive impact you made on not only my life but also for those that had the opportunity to come in contact with you. You continue to live on in those that love and know you. I wish I didn't have to write this, I would much rather still have you here.

I love you and miss you with all of my heart.

My husband and I began fostering over 6 years ago and I met the Martin family through a mutual rescue friend. There are so many reasons why I love being a part of a stellar local animal rescue and this is one of the MANY reasons why.

So when Lincoln didn't want to be left out of family photos with his new baby sister I was totallly okay with that because he is a part of the family too. If you hadn't noticed in my stories and posts, I love dogs (and so does his family).

This is Eloise.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I received her e-mail asking to document Eloise's recent graduation from the neonatal intensive care unit to home, I could not say yes fast enough. Her wonderful momma wanted to document everything that makes her special and all that she has and continues to overcome. The moment I walked into their home, I could tell that Eloise was so very loved and I don't think I could pick one photo from this session that was my absolute favorite. I wish I had the words to express how I feel about this session but it would be remiss of me to even try to put it into words. So, I won't.

I am so grateful to have met the Martin family and I look forward to watching this sweet angel grow alongside her big sisters.
