With one week to prep after having quite a bit of time off, I think we did quite well at the SSHF Classic II today. We had a bit of tension in the warm up ring, partially due to another stallion that made sure everyone knew who he was. While Tsjalle didn't do anything (bad), the other guy sure had his attention. 🥴
Of course, this guy was also stabled right next to the outdoor arena and started screaming when we came around the corner. Boys!
After some tension there, Tsjalle pulled himself back together and still earned a nice score to qualify himself for the Regional Championships! 🎉
Our second ride was in the indoor arena and Tsjalle didn't feel like he had anything to "make up" for earlier. He had a very solid ride with still lots of little things that could have been better (but he didn't want to put the effort in), but he still earned himself Reserve High Point at First Level for the show! That, and a 1st and 2nd place in his classes is certainly something to be very happy about. 🥰
