Tsjalle is a Norwegian Fjord Horse Stallion, born in 2011 in Germany. He came to the USA in February 2018 and lives in Valley, WA at DDungård.

He is extremely willing, athletic and has an exceptional work ethic. Select foal may be available.

We have started tracking how many miles we are riding on a "normal" bases in the spring and summer. Winter miles may vary. 🙃
Today we are exactly 14 days in and just a bit over 50 miles/80km. Those are trail miles, those are dressage miles, those are hacking miles in the field and include rest days (4).
And while I have a few horses that I absolutely love riding, every time I get in Tsjalle's saddle, I feel like coming home. ❤️

Another great trail ride today for us! This time we tried out some new trails at Riverside Park in Spokane and enjoyed being accompanied by Dan with Megan. The Arrow leaf balsamroot flowers were beautiful!! 🌼

Great ride again at Rustler's Gulch today. 🌷 We did 1.5 miles more and increased our average speed from 5.3mph to 5.6mph and high speed was 22.7mph.
Not too bad!! We had beautiful weather. NO bugs!!! ... We will see about ticks. 🥴
I am just using the app for a couple weeks now, but love how much data and information I am getting. The gaits are definitely not correct, but he's also just a pony. 🙃

Jumping is not one of Tsjalle's favorite activities, yet all his daughters here just love it!
And just because he isn't a fan, doesn't mean it's not good for him. 🙃 He sure knows what to do, runs right in the alley and then comes up to me out of the alley to get his cookies. 😆

Excuse the dirt - he did some arena work under saddle before and was still sweaty.

I am finally able to play around with my Pivo and get video when I am riding on my own.
Here are some segments from our ride last night. I clipped out the parts when the Pivo followed cars on the highway or the 30min of walk on the long rein.🙃
We are (still) battling with the canter to walk transitions, especially on the right lead.
Please note that I am obviously NOT a professional rider or trainer, just an amateur learning as we go. 🙏
