Hi, I’m Alisha, owner of The PawGround and dogs have always been the center of my world 🐾

My dog Luka (our Chief Fun Officer 😉) inspired me to create a space where dogs feel safe, understood, and truly happy.

First official pack hike in the books! 🐾🌿

Today Ember and Cash joined us for a little Taco Tuesday adventure. One of the best parts about weekday hikes is that the trails are quiet not many people or dogs which makes it the perfect environment to work on calm exploration and a little bit of obedience along the way.

I use a buddy system where my trained dogs helps new pups who join the the, giving everyone a little extra confidence and freedom while still keeping things structured and safe.

We mixed in some recalls, practiced a pack down-stay, and of course let the dogs just enjoy being dogs (yes… Ember digging in the dirt made the highlight reel 😂).

These pack hikes are all about structured adventure, enrichment, and letting dogs experience nature in a safe and balanced way.

🌲🐾 NEW ADD-ON SERVICE: PawGround Pack Hikes! 🐾🌲

We are excited to start offering Pack Hikes as a special enrichment add-on for dogs who are boarding or attending daycare at The PawGround.

Hikes will take place every Tuesday & Thursday, and the hiking schedule will be posted one month in advance so you can reserve your pup’s spot. If you’d like to sign up, please contact our front desk team.

Each hike will be led by me, Alisha (owner of The PawGround), along with my own dogs, creating a structured and balanced pack environment where the dogs can safely explore nature together.

Our goal is to provide dogs with a structured, enriching outdoor experience where they can move their bodies, explore new environments, and enjoy the mental stimulation that comes from being out in nature.

Just like us, dogs sometimes need a break from the daily routine. You know how sometimes you’re having a gloomy day and just need to go outside, take a walk, and get some sunshine? Dogs feel the same way. Being out on the trail, sniffing around, running, and experiencing the world is incredibly fulfilling for them.

Our four-legged friends were meant to explore, move, and live their best lives outdoors. 🌿

Each outing will be a 2–3 hour adventure while your pup is already with us for daycare or boarding, giving them the opportunity to burn energy, build confidence, and return happy and fulfilled.

✨ Spots will be limited to ensure safety, structure, and quality attention for each dog.
