🫏📖 WHEN THE LESSONS COME TO LIFE! ❤️

Truth & Trail Collective, LLC had such a special evening Wednesday with Circle C Cowboy Church in Morristown, Tennessee! Their youth had just completed our Mules on a Mission Sunday School Curriculum over the past six weeks, and we were so excited to introduce them to some of the REAL Mission Mules they had been learning about!

Mike shared some mule-packing skills with the group, and we enjoyed a wonderful meal, great fellowship, and some incredible Tennessee hospitality.

We were also incredibly grateful for the canned food drive held for Mission Mules that evening! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who contributed. Those donations will help Mission Mules continue serving communities when disaster strikes.

There’s just something special about watching kids learn about faith, service, and helping others…and then getting to meet the four-legged heroes from their lessons! 🫏❤️

Mission Mules is expanding our disaster response team, and we’re looking for the right people to join us. Do you have a heart for service? Do you have skills and experience that could help us reach people when disaster strikes?

We’re looking for:

Mission Mules Packers
Experienced backcountry mule packers ready to work in remote and challenging conditions.

Mission Mules Wranglers
Mule handlers and experienced horsemen ready to support our pack teams in the field.

Rapid Assessment Team Leads
Experienced field professionals who can assess needs, identify access challenges, gather information, and help determine how Mission Mules can respond.

These are deployment-capable volunteer positions. They require commitment, teamwork, good judgment, and a willingness to serve in difficult and unpredictable conditions.

If you’re looking for a way to put your skills to work helping others when they need it most, we’d love to hear from you. Join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself.

🐾❤️ Praying for our friends at United Cajun Navy as they said goodbye to their beloved Roxie “Roux” last night.

We know how deeply these special animals become part of our lives, especially when they are beside us through the work, the missions, and the difficult days.

There is no doubt Roux lived a life FULL of love and gave so much love in return.

Keeping Todd and everyone who loved Roux in our prayers as they grieve this special girl. 🙏❤️

REST EASY, ROXIE

Roux’s fight with cancer ended today.

She belonged to our President, Todd Terrell, and over eleven years she became something more than that — a fixture around this organization and a face a whole lot of you have followed for years.

The last few days were hard to watch. She struggled, but she was never alone and she was in the best hands right up to the end. Thank you to the staff at Garden District Animal Hospital, and to Dr. Hanna Meade and Dr. Andrea Andersen, who cared for Roux through the last few years of her health battle with more compassion than we could have asked for.

Todd will be sharing more tomorrow about what Roux’s legacy is going to be.

To everyone who followed her journey these eleven years — thank you. She was loved by a lot of people who never even met her.

June 26, 2015 – August 27, 2026. Forever in our hearts, always in our lives.

Andy has become such a great part of the Mission Mules team! Steady, dependable, and full of personality, he’s always ready to step up and do his part… whether we’re training, attending a community event, or preparing for the next mission.

And if there’s one thing Andy takes VERY seriously, it’s mealtime! 😂

Andy absolutely LOVES his Mule City Specialty Feeds, and looks forward to it every single day. Keeping our working mules healthy, strong, and ready to serve is incredibly important, and good nutrition is a big part of keeping Andy ready for whatever trail lies ahead.

We sure are thankful to have this handsome red mule on our team. ❤️
