Happy Caturday!!

Meet Puffer Fish! Don’t let her name fool you… this girl isn’t full of hot air! Puffer Fish is a sweet, social, attention-loving girl who is ready to inflate your heart with love! When you pick her up, Puffer Fish gets right to work making biscuits in your arms. Apparently, cuddling is her full-time job, and she takes her responsibilities VERY seriously! Her specialties include kneading your arms, soaking up attention, and being an all-around lovable cat.

But here’s the part that breaks our hearts… Puffer Fish has been waiting SIX WHOLE MONTHS for a home. Everyday she’s hoping someone will walk through the door and choose her and it will finally be her turn.

Puffer Fish doesn’t need a big ocean to swim in. She just needs a loving home, a comfy place to cuddle, and someone who will let her make biscuits in their arms for the rest of her life. 🏡

She is cat friendly and seems to be okay with calm dogs, too! She is about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

If you would like to meet our cats and kittens, we will be open to the public between 9-12 and 3-4 Monday through Friday, (weekends appointments available for approved applicants) for meet and greets. We still ask you to fill out an application prior to coming to speed up the process. If your application is approved, you will be able to adopt the same day! We do not adopt out of state, so NJ residents only please. Check out our new online application:

“Guess where I went?!
Daisy Duke isn’t the only cute pumpkin in the patch! “ ~ Lucy

09/10/2026

It’s Fido Friday!

We may be a little partial, but we think Daisy Duke is the cutest pumpkin in the patch! 😍🎃

Daisy is a 4-year-old English Bulldog with a personality just as adorable as her squishy little face! She’s dog-friendly, but it’s best to keep feline friends away from her.

Daisy loves going for walks and getting out to explore, but she’s also a professional couch potato. After her walk, she’s perfectly happy to kick back on the sofa or curl up in a chair right beside you. Basically, she’s looking for someone who enjoys a little adventure followed by a LOT of lounging.

Daisy Duke will be available for adoption after her spay on October 13. So if you’re looking for a sweet Bulldog to add a little squish, snorts, and pumpkin-spice perfection to your life, Daisy Duke might just be your girl! 🧡🐶

Come meet the cutest pumpkin in the patch before someone else scoops her up! 🎃🥰

If interested in meeting Daisy Duke, please submit an application, if it’s approved we will set up a meet and greet. No walk in meetings please. We do not adopt out of state so NJ, residents only please. Check out our online application:

Lucy is back at the shelter and looking for her forever home. We have learned that she would be best as the only dog in the home.

We are happy that Daisy has found her forever home and are hoping the Lucy doesn’t need to wait much longer for her family.

Ahoy, mateys and Happy Caturday!

Meet Captain Barbossa… or as his friends call him, “Hector”!

This handsome long-haired boy has been through quite the adventure. When Captain Barbossa arrived at the shelter four months ago, he was bruised, matted, and far too thin. But look at him now! His beautiful hair has grown back, he’s filled out, and he is officially looking and feeling FABULOUS! And underneath all that luxurious floof is the sweetest treasure you could ever find. Hector is extremely friendly, social, and a certified lap cat. He LOVES attention and thinks getting brushed is basically a luxury spa treatment. He’s also cat friendly and can be dog tested upon request.

Captain Barbossa has survived the high seas, battled the mats, conquered the bruises, and made one heck of a comeback. Now he’s looking for his forever crew! 🏴‍☠️⚓️ All he needs is a home where he can lounge in laps, receive plenty of attention, and have his magnificent mane brushed like the captain he is.

He is around 5 years old, neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Meet Snapper! He is part of our fish theme.

Snapper has been with us since February, and our volunteer has made an important observation: “He always looks so sad, maybe if he smiles more he would get adopted!”

Well, we decided if Snapper was going to look sad, we might as well give him something to smile about! So this middle-aged gentleman recently got a dental and a couple of teeth extracted and is now proudly showing off his pearly whites in hopes that his new smile will finally get him noticed. Snapper is a very friendly, sweet boy who would absolutely love to trade his shelter accommodations for a cozy home and a family of his own.

Come meet Snapper and maybe you’ll be the reason he finally has something to REALLY smile about.

Snapper is feline friendly but doesn’t like dogs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Happy Caturday!!!
Meet our new tabby boys in the adoption room!
We’re starting off with the extremely handsome Tigre. He is approximately 2 years old and such a hunk! He’s a big boy and so sweet! You can do anything to him and he is very brave, social, and tolerant. Tigre is dog and cat friendly. Wonderful cat with wild cat looks!
Next we have Lug Nut, he is also super sweet, social, and tolerant. He loves to rub on your face and purr while making muffins. He is about 1 year old and is cat friendly and hasn’t been tested with dogs. We love him and you will too!
Finally we have Torque! He was a surrendered because a relative moved in to his home and they were allergic to him. He is 5 years old, very friendly, social and loves attention. The first thing people notice about him are his big eyes. Torque is only people friendly and wants to be the only pet.
They are all neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
