Meet Frodo.

Frodo is two years old and was having some issues with acne and inter-digital cysts and sore foot pads. He also had mild hip dysplasia which caused his hips to lock up when urinating or drag after a big play.

Our go-to for hip dysplasia (and also ACL) is the Bone-Up - calcium and vitamin B6 play a big role in bone and joint health as well as muscle strength.

Calcium and B6 are also very important for the skin as they maintain skin elasticity, support collagen production, and protect the skin from damage.

For skin, general wellness, and herbal nutrition Frodo also had the Vital Force Herbal Blend combined with some zinc citrate for extra skin support. Frodo also got bone broth.

Fibre is an important part of a dog's diet. And yet, too many dogs don't get enough in their daily diets. That's one of the reasons that so many dogs, given the opportunity, munch on grasses, shrubs, berries, and various plants. In fact, dogs with an upset stomach, nausea or diarrhea immediately head outside for some "forage".

Why is fibre important for dogs?

It keeps their colon regular, balances the intestinal microbiome, acts as a natural detoxifier for the intestines and the liver, manages excess weight, promotes normal blood sugar levels, prevents and treats diabetes, and keeps the a**l glands from filling up.

Where do dogs get fibre?

Many of our health consultations are for senior dogs. The most common issues are incontinence, joint inflammation, and stress and increased anxiety as they get older.
