Just a sneak preview of the Christmas backdrop for our Portraits with David Brown of FACES OF RESCUE that are scheduled for November 14 from 10 am to 4 pm at Tractor Supply in Jackson Oh.

We will put up times to sign up the first of November. Pictures are not limited to animals.

David asks for a $20 donation of which 100% is donated to the Humane Society of Jackson County. You will receive the best digitized photos ever!

We would like to say a big thank you to David M Brown for all the years he has donated his time to help our group. As always, 100% of monies earned goes to help animals.

We hope to see you there!

The next three months are when animals and cars meet most, and most of it happens in the same hour.

Deer are in the rut. Young foxes and raccoons are leaving home. And the clocks are about to put the drive home right at dusk, which is when all of them move.

🦌 What actually helps:

- Slow down at dusk and dawn, especially near woods and fields
- High beams when no one's coming — eyeshine shows up on the shoulder before the animal does
- See one deer, expect more behind it
- If stopping isn't possible, brake hard and hold the lane; swerving is what turns a dent into a ditch

Slow down for the next ninety days. They can't. 🍂

Posting this to help find the cats home:

This very pretty very scared very nervous very hungry cat has showed up in the fairgrounds area.. it is socialized and meows back when spoken to I don't know yet if it has been spayed or neutered or if it's male or female. If you own this cat or you know who belongs to please contact them or come and find your cat. We have predators in this area that will kill it at night. We just had one killed a couple weeks ago by a predator that was pregnant.. that was not the first one killed and it won't be the last because like I said we have predators around here.

You can private message us or call our call line at 740/286-6435 if this is your cat.
