***Meet Andy located in Temecula CA. We rescued our little Andy from a shelter just before his euthanasia deadline. He had been hit by a car, taken to a shelter by a good Samaritan, and was vetted each day as he began show progress. Thankfully after we were able to get him to safety, we had him seen by an ER vet where it was confirmed that he only had suffered a broken rib which was able to heal on its own. Our amazing foster Rosanne, stepped right up to help this adorable little boy. The shelter believed he is approximately 5 years old, and we had him neutered last month. FENCED YARD REQUIRED.
Andy is very active and will require a Foster/Adopter who can keep up with his energy.
Here are some words from his foster mom:

He is doing well in his foster home. He knows sit and understands “no”. He LOVES playing fetch with tennis balls. He brings it back and tends to want to play tug o war but will drop it if you tell him. He does well in a crate. He gets excited when he sees leash and harness. He walks pretty good on a leash, pulls a lot, but I think that can be corrected easily. He loves to ride in the car, but jumps around a lot, so I recommend crating him during car rides. He is a VERY smart dog. It was difficult for me to contain him. All my barriers are 24” high and he scaled them easily. He is housebroken. After he learned our routine, he will "go" outside whenever I let him/them out. Andy is head strong, smart and very trainable.

Andy does NOT like strangers. He will bark and growl and not a good fit for children. He has been getting along well with small dogs in his foster home.

UPDATE: We have secured a Foster for our little Sparky!

Four-year-old Sparky was confiscated from owner due to a cruelty case and we need to find a foster to be able to pull him. He is approximately 7.6 lbs and will need a foster who is patient and willing to work with him. He is fearful at the shelter but is improving. He seems to like being around other dogs. Fosters will have first option to adopt. If you can help us please send an email to [email protected]

It is with great sadness that we announce Spanky, a Toy Fox Terrier Rescue dog, has earned his wings. Spanky, who was lovingly fostered and then adopted by our board member, Jenny Eddinger, once lived in a puppy mill. Jenny’s love and devotion to him allowed Spanky to know love and feel safe. She gave him an amazing home filled with so much of that love and wonderful care that he lived to be 17. Please keep Jenny in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Fly high sweet Angel Spanky 🌈🐾❤️
